Any freshman teams in Northeast Tennessee to look out for? I know Central and South should be very good this year.

Although most think Central will down this year, it should be a really good year for them. Beverly and Leonard didn't get much playing time last year because of the loaded senior class. They both should have a good year. The junior class is loaded (Holston won Large School state) and the Blountville team was just as good. They can give Happy Valley a good run for there money.

Let's hope the game at Tennessee High doesn't get close, wouldn't want to get cheated again like we did last year thumb

They still have to win the rest of their games and didn't they lose to Bradley Central in the Arby's? I have lost all respect for White Station. I mean they stalled the ball against the Puerto Rico team in the second quarter? Come on

If we are comparing point guards where is Daniel Skelton? He had wayyy fewer turnovers than Jay Hughes or Lester Bailey. He also scored decent amounts, with only good shots taken. Also, he is probably the best defender, besides Lester. I think he is one of the most underrated players in the Watuaga conference. Just my opinion.

I can't believe Joe Brown didn't make the first team. The only bad game he had was against Volunteer. Any other game he is always got the best defender on him. And he did break Central's single season three point record. I think he got cheated on that one :justwrestle:

Yeah I know Dedrick Dye hit a bunch in the Arby's and set a record up there. I knew him and his brother from AAU when I was younger. He could shoot the lights out.

Well I saw Daniel Singleton throw down one against Happy Valley that was pretty sweet. It looked like one that LeBron James would pull. I knew he could jump since he was the point guard jumping at the tip, but I didn't he could dunk like that. Once he got on the break there whole crowd stood up. I knew a crazy one was about to happen. They said he does that a lot. Not too many top that one.

Whoever said Dunford was a scrub must have not saw him play in the district tournament. He is a good all-around player. Josh O'Dell and him are the best big man duo around here. Also, Volunteer had a good season. They just didn't seem like the same team the last two times we played them. They should have a great season next year, they do need some outside shooters though. I still think Central will have a good chance to play with them. Good luck tonight Cougars.

Does that Singleton guy always put on a show like he did tonight? He seemed like a great player. He had one of the best jump shots I have ever saw, and could jump out the gym. He threw down a LeBron James type of dunk that left the crowd in amazement. If anyone has anything on him, I'd like to know.

Joe Brown-Sullivan Central. He can go between the legs and jam it. He is only at the most 6'

There are two good freshman at Sullivan Central in Justin Hess and Josh Hughes. They played Wattad, Reid, and Throp in AAU and barely lost. They play on the JV and will probably be on Varsity next year.

First off, I think Central has a couple more seats than that cracker box you call a gym. And my brother is the one complaning about the seats. The people beside of us decided they just wanted to yell stuff about our players. I think that Elizabethton has no class at all, ole Vince Redd decided he wanted to show his butt to all of the Central fans, saying we have no class. There is no way Redd is a division 1 player, when he can only play one end of the court. Anyways, at the end of that game the refs just handed the game to them. I think Elizabethton is a good team, but Central outplayed them, but couldn't play the refs.

OK, have any of you people ever went to a Sullivan Central game? If you would you would notice that Matt Dunford is pretty good. He played not only good defense on Vince Redd, but made Vince Redd look like some middle schooler. I have no clue why he is not in the top 100. He will always give a good game and pumps his team up. I think he should be atleast in the top 100.
