  1. Automatic, 1st - It's funny that the only people defending the coaches ARE coaches. 2nd - I am more of a Redskin than you will ever be. 3rd - How can you support a coach who has done nothing in two years but waste the hard work and talent of the kids. It's about them. They don't want to play anymore with things the way they are. How many kids have threatened to quit the past couple of weeks? Have you forgotten how many games that Loudon could have and should have won, but simply got outcoached down the stretch? If it's not coaching, then why did everything go downhill when Coach D left? Loudon still has a load of talent, but can't seem to win a game. Sounds like poor coaching to me.
  2. With Jeff Harig and current coaching staff: Fulton 35 Loudon 15 If Kent Everett were the head coach of Loudon High: Loudon 27 Fulton 13
  3. My hats off to Coach Smith. A real gentleman on and off the field. LC could very easily have been 0-3, but has found a way to win. Congrats and best of luck. At least one high school in Loudon County has a coach who knows what he is doing!
  4. Turnovers and mental mistakes. You play the way you practice and after the 35-0 loss to Seqyoyah, it's nice to see that things haven't changed for the past two years. Since Jeff Harig has been head coach, the redskins have lost numerous games that they have came into with as much or more talent than the opposing team. What's going on? After talking to several players the last couple of days, I think it is obvious. There is NO discipline coming from the top! Players back talking coaches and refusing to practice? Hmm. You know things are bad when even assistant coaches talk about the players not being disciplined and not wanting to play for a head coach. Loudon football has gone down the tubes the past couple of seasons, and something needs to change NOW! If not, then I'm afraid many years of tradition will be lost. My suggestion is that Mr. Harig focus more on getting his team ready for FRi. night, and worry less about what other teachers and community members are doing. If you are going to come in time and again during summer interviews and beg for the head coaching position, why not act like one for a change? They say that embarassment is a great motivator. If that's the case maybe Loudon will be ok against A-E - because I don't think the Loudon community could be any more embarassed than they are right now!
  5. Who won the Loudon and LC game, and did anything happen? Did the Everett kid pitch well?
  6. Someone just came by and asked why I only had one post if it was really me. To make a long story short, some students who had made up some usernames also stole my real username and password off my computer, so I had to ask coacht to remove it. I guess I learned the hardway.
  7. This is the REAL coach Wright at LHS. The students who were posting on this board earlier have been caught and will be dealt with appropriately. I apologize to anyone who has read their inappropriate comments. I was only notified this afternoon of what was going on. We are a young track team. This is only our second year of competition and we do not have a track to practice on. However, we will continue to strive to get better. I look forward to a year where we will hopefully improve a great deal. Again, I apologize for the actions of those responsible and hope to see you all this year at our meets!
