Actually i've heard that memphis was supposed to to build new complexs for all spring sports ing TN and that is a lot of the reason they ended up getting the Spring Fling from Chattanooga. But we all know now that didn't happen because we are playing in Miss well at least softball is. i'm not sure if the other spring sports are being played in Miss or TN. But moving on i disagree with ERA on one thing i actually don't think tha Memphis will keep the spring Fling for ten year i say maybe for 1-3 years because face it Memphis is not a big softball town and I think they will end up lossing more money then they are making and will end up seeing that keeping the spring filng is a waste of time and money.. but i do agree that Middle TN would be a good place to hold it becasue of of the simple fact that is is in the Middle and Both West and East TN team can make it in less than 8 hours. but hey ya know what it doesn't matter cause it is in Miss and there ain't a darn thing we can do about it

i never said that soddy wouldn't have lost the game if we didn't get cheeted i just said that it would have been a close and FAIR!!!!! game..... and i've never really seen homecooking at soddy becuase the umps here in Chatt-town hate Clifford Kirk and wouldn't give him the benefit of a call just because he is Clifford Kirk.

chickodee, let me remind you that you beat soddy in a PLAYDAY!! and it was 1-0 in a 3 inning game.. against their JV team. and yall acted like yall had won state. and yes it does depend on the day you play soddy, just like it depends on the day that you play anybody. every body has bad days, the think is that even when soddy has bad days they still usally win

yes, if you looked at the score board the score was soddy daisy 2 pisgah 4 but .. i was there and i've never smelt home cooking like that before..!! the coach might as well of paid the umps right then and there cause I don't think it is humanly possible to be that bad. The only way the soddy pitchers could get a strike is to throw it right down the gut and even then it wasn't a strike most of the time... but i can tell you one thing is the game was played at soddy where it was supposed to to be played the score wouldn't have been as it was.. it would have been as fair and close game.

i believe why some good team are left off is becuase nobody ever see them in tournaments or reads about them... maybe they don't play as much as other good teams so therefore nobody knows they are good... and thats why they are left off of the "best" list...

too bad the hume fogg vs. soddy game never got played because Hume Fogg lost their elimination game to a team soddy beat 9-0.... i honestly don't believe that hume fogg would stand a chance against soddy.. now i'm not say that they are bad because they arn't but they just don't play on the same level as soddy does... as of now the only real compitition for soddy that i see is Goodpasture.

HFA was put out in single elimination before they could play soddy... soddy ended up winning the tourney

i think soddy's problem is that they have to many starters that don't love the game.. i say maybe 3 that i know of actually LIKE playing baseball..the rest show up cause they can.
