watch out for chris brooks from richland. he is a sophomore. he pitched sat. 22 against bradley central. he piched 5 innings and gave up 1 unearned run.(bradley central is aaa). t.schmidt, a junior from richland is a killer south paw. he got a win vs. aaa powerhouse smyrna on fri. 21. he can shut anyone down if he is on. also watch out for jamie whitworth. he is a sophomore and plays short, first, and pitches(mid 80's) usually in relief.he can also crush the ball at the plate. he is a prospect, watch out for him. don't forget about jon jackson. junior for richland. pitches, plays 2b and bats 2nd. he is a great pitcher and 2nd baseman. he is also a great hitter and a very tough out. he also has the oppo homerun power too.

smyrna is a great ball club. they lost this weekend to the richland raiders, who were 8-0 until a heartbreaking loss to bradley central. the score in the smyrna game was 8-7? dustin briggs had the game winning hit bringing in jared ingram from 2nd in the bottom of the 7th. i believe smyrna could have won the game but underestimated richland because of their single a status. smyrna will face richland in the riverdale tourney, and have already said they are out for revenge.

your right, i don't know much about forrest, i just get sick of people bragging all the time.richland and eagleville, last years top two teams, they aren't bragging as much as u guys. like you said though, just play ball. p.s. mrbaseball-didn't you or some chapel hill person say forrest has the best and fastest outfield? wasn't the cornersville game decided on a dropped ball in the outfield? that is not a sign of a high calibur baseball team if you can't do the fundamental stuff.

this is exactly why i PLAINLY stated that the chapel hill players NOT to reply b-cos their ego is so big. they still think they are the best. i know for a fact that huntland can't be 2nd because richland beat them yesterday....at least that's what i heard. did u forget about eagleville? just because chapel hill may have alot of returning players and your team is better than usual, doesn't mean you are the best team in all of tennessee. i'm not saying we are better than u, you may beat us all and win the district...but i don't think u can go to state. we'll see next week though. forrest has never been on top of district since richland came down to single a.

richland defeats huntland on thursday (3/13/03). dustin briggs started for richland, while #30 started for huntland. richland half-heartedly won 6-5.i believe richland underestimated huntland and wasn't ready to play, but a win is a win.t. schmidt came in with 1 out in top of 7th and finished out the game. the sticks were slow for richland who left many runners on base and didn't take advantage of the scoring opportunities. if they want to win big games, they will have to pick it up, espically this weekend vs. uperman and others. give huntland their credit though, they are better than people think and WILL upset some people this year. good luck to all and have a great season. to richland, step it up a notch or two.

2022-is chapel hill "the real deal" as they say, did they just have a bad game and u have a good game , or are they about the same as last year......give me some scouting info. thanks..... chapel hill, please don't reply to this, because you are going to say everything in the world to justify your loss to cornersville after you have been doing all this bragging about how awesome your whole team is. do us all a favor because we don't want to waste our time reading all your bull.

I WISH HE WOULD COME BACK TO THE COLUMBIA AREA AND COACH. HE IS A GREAT COACH AND I LEARNED ALOT PLAYING FOR HIM LAST SUMMER ON POST 19. HE IS A COOL GUY TO BE AROUND TOO.
