Franklin County is not good. They have only won 3 or 4 games and 0 in the district.

What about Tipps from Coffee Co.? I think he would make a good fit.

Greg Tipps will resign after the school year as girls basketball coach. He informed his team at the end of last week.

Del I never said you talked about the coach. When I wrote about parents staying out of it, I meant coaching. Everything is OK. I've been to some Grundy games and all I hear from parents are he should do it this way or that way. Parents stick to fund raising, serving food and selling the team to the public. I do not know how the coach fills but this is the way I have seen it. Sometimes players act the way their parents and grandparents act.

I guess if the parents coached the team they would be better. Oh I'm sorry parents and Grand-parents already coach from the stands. Do the players still hang out in the stands between innings. When the coach runs the team after a game do some of the players still sit in the stands with their family while the others run. Parents stay out of it and maybe the players will act better, they only act like they are taught. Let them play and have FUN!

The team was all-district not tournament. No tournament team was named. I guess Rick did not want one.

Shelbyville had 4 Lawrence Co. 3.. Everyone else had one. Coffee County had one what a JOKE.

Giles did not play Coffee County twice, they did not even play once.

I am from Grundy Co. but I have good friends in Coffee County. One of them told me that a coach from Marion County applied if it is the coach that used to be at Grundy I think the people of Coffee County would be happy. Good luck and GO Jackets!!

A friend of mine that is inside the system told me that the coach from Gallatin and Delta state both turned down offers. they are going to offer the job to a coach from Huntsville Lee. So we will see.

They Were Late Going Back To The Games. They Missed Plays Because Of This. They Were Also Late Starting Breaks. I Understand This Did Not Happen In Other Markets, It Only Happened When Nashville UPN Played Local Commericials. By The Way UPN Really Did Not Do The Production They Hired A Company To Do The Games, They Said It During One Of The Half-time Shows. The Bands Should Have Been Shown!! Thank God For One Thing Blake Fulton Did Not Do Play-by-play. Willie And George Did A Great Job!! Skip Baldwin did a wonderful job asking Ronnie Carter a question about public-private, even if he did not get an answer.

TV? I can't beleive anyone watches anymore. $5 to get in has alot to do with it. I wished the TV could go back to the way it was. Del I hope one day you and Gomez or someone else could do the TV broadcast.. SO THERE!!
