  9. Definitely wish I could be home to watch this game. I just wanna wish my Bulldogs the best of luck. JCS will be a tough opponent once again just like they proved earlier in the season. I will say Milan wins this game in a close one, but no prediction on the score.
  10. That's Coleman's nickname that we know him by. He's a junior in his family, so he's been called Junior a lot of his life. Just a little insight there pal /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> This game won't be close, but Coach Morris will keep the Dawgs from running the score up too much. I say 42-6, Dresden scores late 4th quarter but misses the extra point.
  11. Milan's not playing in this game. It's Peabody and Goodpasture /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I did leave these 2 off. And how I forgot to mention either is beyond me, haha /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Anyways, back to the game, I agree with freeacen on the fact that we should get back to the topic of the game. I started this thing about the big names Milan has produced over the years, so I'm here to end it /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Friday night the best team will win, and that's a fact. In my opinion, because I'm from Milan, I think they'll be the best team on the field Friday night. I just think Milan's defense is too much for the offense of Peabody. Sure Peabody may put some points on the board, but Milan will contain them for the most part. I'm gonna stick with my previous prediction of Milan 24 - Peabody 17. Wish I could be there to cheer on the Bulldogs. If there are any players on this thread, then I wanna say good luck, and no matter what the outcome...leave it all on the field!! GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK!!
  13. 2 big names there that I did forget to mention. Thanks for bringing them up skyhawk /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> And I remember being able to meet John Fields when I was younger. He refereed the flag football games in Milan when I was younger and playing.
  14. For people to say Milan recruits is crazy. We don't recruit and have never recruited in the past. Milan is just blessed to have good athletes to put on the field year in and year out. Everyone on this board knows about the tradition Milan has with its football program. We're not a team that just come around to being good in the last decade. Instead, Milan is a program that's been dominant for over 20 years. And you people saying that we recruit need to understand that some kids would rather play for a team rich with a winning tradition, such as Milan. And here's some names for you all who think recruit. You may not recognize some, but any Milan fan can tell you about them and the careers they had for Milan. George Kidd Victor Kidd Rod Smith Daylan Walker Bubba Alexander Daniel Beasley George West Doc Robinson Kelton Robinson Matt Simms Jon Hudspeth Harrison Jones Lawrence Norman Quenton Hodge Adam Lineberry Terricus Davis All these guys are products of Milan. I remember growing up playing flag football with some alot of these guys, and at the same time remember growing up watchin some of these guys play football for Milan. Get off the whole recruiting thing, because that's not why we're so good. Seems everyone just hates the fact that we're so good year in and year out /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Thank you and have a nice day /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> GOD BLESS!!
  15. Just out of curiosity, is Kendall talking to any colleges about playing football??
  16. I agree with theplayer. Milan has a very speedy defense, and if there's anyone who can shut down Peabody's explosive offensive attack, it's Milan. You Peabody fans may disagree with me on that, but hey...it's my opinion. And they've more than proved themselves against great offenses this year. To name a few...Huntingdon, Camden, USJ, JCS, Peabody, Westview. All these teams mentioned have bigtime playmakers, yet Milan has been able to contain them for the most part. Milan plays their best ball come playoff time, and with them being in this position year in and year out, I see that playing an advantage for them. Milan will be ready for Peabody come Friday night, and that my friends is a FACT!! I see Kendall Harper having a fairly good game, but I don't see him doin to Milan what he's done to other teams as of late. I'm sticking to my previous prediction...Milan 24 - Peabody 17. GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK BULLDOGS!!!
  17. First I want to say congratulations to both Milan and Peabody for making it this far /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Okay, now to the good stuff. This will by far be the best game in West Tennessee next week, if not in all the state. Both these teams have been playing great ball as of late, and I don't look for anything different this week. If Milan's D plays as great as they played tonight against Huntingdon, and the offense gets to rolling again, it could pose for a long night for Peabody. However, our D has to be able to contain the threat of Kendall Harper. Kendall is a beast, but so far we've had great success in shutting down players like Harper. I hope for a hard hitting game to be played on both sides of the ball. But in the end, I gotta go with my Dawgs to pull out the victory. It'll be a hard fought game, but I'm gonna say: Milan 24 Peabody 17 GOD BLESS
  18. The Camden - GP game will be a great game, no doubt. But the reason I chose the Milan/Huntingdon game is because it is Milan/Huntingdon in the playoffs. Everyone knows just what kind of show these 2 teams put on when they meet in the playoffs. However, I will be pulling for Camden against GP!! Good luck to your Lions this week CamdenCrunch /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. Hahahahahahahahaha /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Sorry, I just thought it was funny that you told me to come down to Bradford to get my "whoopin". Okay, I'm good now...whew!! So why is it that Huntingdon is a "bunch of punks"?? I mean, I'm not from Huntingdon nor am I fan of the Mustangs, but for you've gotta have a reason for thinkin they're just a bunch of punks. I mean, did some players do something to you?? Did you have a bad experience while in Huntingdon?? Where some fans rude to you at one point in your life??
  20. "Sissyfied punks"...wow, that's real mature. Did you think that up all by yourself??
  21. The game of the week will be the Huntingdon/Milan game. Both teams are used to this position, and are used to playing each other in the playoffs. Every time Huntingdon and Milan do battle in the playoffs it's always a classic.
  22. Please tell me how you've come to the conclusion that Milan and Huntingdon stink?? These 2 teams are both rich with traditions of winning, yet they stink?? Wow, you're an idiot my friend /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  23. Same here my friend. And as for the Milan/Peabody rivalry you've talked about with theplayer, you're right. Milan and Peabody goes back a ways. As far back as the Milan/Humboldt rivalry, I'm not sure...but I know from growing up in Milan and goin to football games all my life the rivalry the Bulldogs and Tide have produced. I don't think it's as big as the rivalry we have with Humboldt or Huntingdon, but nonetheless, it is still a rivalry.
