Because Mike Rose complex it the best soccer facility in the state of Tennessee. I would personally rather make the extra drive knowing that I am going to be playing on a good field for once.

if page beats columbia academy and zion then fairview will get another shot at columbia academy (and the playoffs will not be at ca so you wont have to worry about getting homered by the refs!) tough luck with the refs though it was completely one sided

when/how did you score your goals against Columbia Academy, Fairview? Cuz when I left with 15 minutes or so left the score board said 4-0 columbia academy. I do think the scoreboard was wrong though and it should have said 3 to 0. Do you think columbia academy is any good this year?

The only way Harpeth can win a game is by playing dirty. I hear some other people bragging about how physical their team is(Fairview for instance) and it bothers me. That is not soccer. Page played Harpeth last week and escaped with a 1 to 0 victory because of a late goal scored by our (Page) sweeper. Page dominated the game and anyone who was there would confirm this. The problem was that Harpeth played the dirtiest soccer I have ever seen. Harpeth received 6 yellow cards because every time Page had an oppurtainity at goal a Harpeth player would take him out. They knew they werent going to beat us at soccer so they tried hurting us. They succeeded in taking two of the three starting midfielders out for the game. You guys on these threads might think thats cool and thats how the game should be played. But its not, real class act Harpeth.

Courtney Haas will be a senior for Page High School next year. Making all-state as a Junior this striker should be one of the top players in the state next year.

I know many quality refs who work for under FIFA rules and run many of your travel tournaments in middle Tennessee. Sadly, these refs refuse to do high school games because THEY recognize the quality of high school refs and do not want to be placed with that stigma of being a 'high school ref'. Thought some people might like to know that. On another note, a ref threw one of my teammates out this year for muttering, "Thats a bunch of bullcrap," after another teammate got his second yellow for a slide tackle. Straight red, no warning or anything. Are these guys just loving their power too much now a days? I believe a ref has done his job when he has done all he could to make no impact on the game itself. Anyone agree with this?
