the best rivalry is without a doubt the bearden farragut game, at any time of the season. This is because the games always attract news stations, front page write ups, and about 3,000 plus attendance. And in addition, the games are always close, with a go ahead goal being scored in the final minutes.

what the game is going to come down to is the old fashioned underdog player to come in and score the goal, like putting John Webb in to score a goal, or putting Hines out in the field to make the plays. Look for the unknown player to make it happen while the "key players" match up equally.

After winning multiple state championships, for club (D1) and for high school, two AAA, I would have to say that the High school games meant more. Looking at it from a players standpoint, we played in front of our classmates, our friend, and our neighbors, something that never happened in club, except for the ocassional girlfriend. We represented our school and the high school championship felt more deserved than the club one, partly because we played with what we had, although it was quite a good group of players all from club teams. The club level championship was still great to win, but it seemed that we pulled players from all across areas to beat one team. Nothing against club because without it we probably would not have won two state championships. I look forward to hearing about the Bearden Farragutt game.
