The way I see DB's football program is much like that of North Carolina in basketball. UNC had a great coach who was criticized for never winning the big one and finally did win his two championships because of: A. The greatest basketball player on the planet and B. Chris Webber forgetting how to count. So, I can except 3 "Final Four's" in the last 5 years and be happy. I think that is a comparison that anyone would take and Coach Clark will get a title. When we get the greatest football player ever or for once in a playoff game get an unforeseen bastion of good luck (i.e. Clint Stoerner fumbling the ball so UT could win or Nebraska getting the kicked ball TD catch in 97) I feel confident we will be champs. By the way, last time I checked Roy Williams was considered one of the best coaches in college basketball and he hasn't won a title yet either. Just some food for thought. QB#7 why must you lash out? Did mommy not give you enough attention.....Did uncle George get a little too friendly.......Was that cold December night in Murfreesboro the last time you felt important to someone....There is more to live for and you are important so try to look for happiness in yourself and your anger will dissapear.

Under two minutes in the game: OR-35 DB-17 OR completely dominated the 2nd half. DB defense could not stop OR offense the entire 2nd half. Turning point was with about 2 minutes left in 3rd quarter, DB fumbled ending a sure scoring drive with score 17-14. OR drove 86 yards for a score and then it has been one DB turnover after another. OR very classy in win. Great team and you just had a feeling, with the whole Lamon incident, it was going to be OR night. Not tying to making excuses, OR kicked our butts and we did not do enough with the OR turnovers in the first half and OR definitely did in the 2nd half. Booker and Gulmire were awesome. Good luck to OR.....I want to see you guys put an end to this Middle Tennessee is the king of 5A talk.

9 minutes left to go in the game: OR-21 DB-17 OR offense has been unstoppable in second half. DB fumbled inside OR 20 yard line stopping a scoring drive. DB to recieve kickoff

6 minutes left in 3rd quarter: DB-17 OR-14 OR 90 yard drive for TD and DB now deep in its own territory.

Halftime: DB-17 OR-7 OR with 4 turnovers, really hurting their defense, which has been on the field virtually the entire first half.

For anyone that knows, were there any new developments today? How did the team look at practice? Was Lamon there? Do you think the game plan will emphasize the running game more?

Is Lamon out for the rest of the playoffs if we advance? Considering the big picture, could this hurt him with recruiting and his future in football at DB? This is such a shame for someone with so much talent to do this. I hope he has some good adult influences in his life that can help him realize he is acting childish and he will give the proper apology. I hope the team can stay focused, because as everyone said the TEAM is what is important.
