  1. Will there be tickets available at the gate? Heard a rumor that the game was sold out and there would not be tickets at the gate.
  2. LA fades like the sunset over K-town. KC 42 LA 7
  3. Smith County final was 41-0. Watertown had penalty on last play of game. Posted some pictures, should be up soon.
  4. WHAT'S UP QUEENIE? Haven't been here lately. Congrats to the little Bee and to TEZ, he played a little smack-down at Watertown Friday night. Give us a buzz sometime or load up the "RAT" and come on over. Might take some pics Friday at gord. Can you load them? Send me an e-mail..
  5. Queen, you should have stayed home and we could have had a Hive Jive. Heard Jumbo got another "T".
  6. SC defense has been on vacation the last two weeks. I think they are still celebrating the LA showing. If they return for this game SC wins by 20, if not, Owls leave Macon 4-1.
  7. #4 Shawn Frey - Smith County.......He had pass reception for a TD, a punt return for a TD and a forced fumble which the Owls covered in the endzone for another TD . GOOD GAME SHAWN..
  8. Was that flips or flops or were you just behaving or beehiving? Oh my, glad she can rebound........
  9. TC still has a lot of speed. They can't replace T.T. but from what I saw in the jamboree they play more as a team now instead of their T.T. show, gave us fits the last 2 years, glad he's gone. Physically, we can match up with them, but if they get outside it's all over. Can't wait until the jackets come to town, bellies ought to be full of kitty cat meat (Gordansville, LA, Dekalb, Macon) by then.
  10. Twan, your always on here. Do you ever sleep? haha, just kidding. Check out the Photo gallery. Portland wins first game, Hartsville wins re-match.
  11. This situation is scorers judgement. You can charge an error to the pitcher for allowing the runner to reach first base and charge an error to the pitcher for the wild throw allowing the runner to reach second base. It depends on how you view the runner reaching first base. If the pitcher still had time to make the play and made a wild throw score it as an E-1 and advance on previously assigned error. If the runner had already reached base and then the wild throw occurred score it as 2 errors against the pitcher. Scoring can get complicated and if your still not sure how to score a play the best rule of thumb to use is if your team is winning score it as 1 error. If your team is losing score it as 2 errors. ( Just kidding) Scoring is a thankless job, do the best you can and if the other parents don't like it, let them keep the books and enjoy the game.
  12. E-1...2 base error...the best website that will answer all your questions about scoring is MLB.com. Make sure you have plenty of time to read this, its about 20 pages long, but it covers all situations.
  13. Eventhough its been good reading and I've had a good laugh, its time to leave the Queen alone. The Queen does a great job and I know more teams than not that would love to have a great supporter of their sports program. The Queen doesn't have any kids playing, she is just a teacher and a great supported of the SC program. Most of you apparently don't know Queen B, or you wouldn't be so negative toward her. Something else you probably don't know is that several years back the SC softball program was so bad that none of the coaches would take the team. The Queen volunteered her services so they could field a team. No, they weren't that good and just winning a game was reason to celebrate. Well, good fortune has smiled on SC and they have a great pitcher in MM and have beat some teams that a few years ago would have laughed at the SC program. The Queen B may have sounded a little sarcatic, but SC fans know she's earned that right. Thanks, Queen B, from all the SC fans that know you believed and kept the program alive and helped make it what it is today.
  14. How did you guess!!!!
