Ok, I got such a response from you boyz in the other forum, I thought we could poke a little fun and a little truth about the people with whom we couldn't have this beloved sport without...our zebras! I mentioned Mathis, Russell, Hooper and somebody else, who I have since forgotten. Someone else mentioned Nelson's bro-in-law Reynolds. Let me throw out a couple of more cutey pies! How 'bout rebel lovin' Hodson!, Rebel lovin' Burch, and Halls High lovin' Mark "pig" Payne? I don't know if I could do better because I haven't seen many ladies officiating football, but I have seen some of the same plays these boyz have seen and I didn't quite see them the same way! I do love Nelson in those skin tight black pants though! Do you think he has ever purchased another pair? Starz - n - barz I know you have an opinion on this and I am just the woman to hear it! Oh yeah the other was the Porter lovin' Tommy Hatcher! Just for grins and giggles...I want to throw Ronnie Ray into the mix! He is another one blessed with imaculate judgement and off yellow stripes! Boyz, boyz, boyz, you all are so cute and diplomatic! Gov Man it is obvious you are a caring individual and have an interest in the well being of students. "One old" it is obvious if you are friends with Gov Man or were friends, then you are probably a teacher or youth minister or something like that! Rebel it is obvious that you and I are a perfect couple! If you recruited Danny Ray, I am proud of you! I will have to give you your props! Also, I spent a few (more than a few) nights up on Nebo mountain back in the day! I also know how to work a chainsaw, build a house, bake a cake and care for about 4 curtain climbers! You heard it hear first! Also, Alcoa and John Reed will win 8 games and lose 3 with one loss coming to those betrayed govs! Gov Man ranting and raving on the sidelines? Who would ever do such a thing in this day and age? I have seen a couple of the Gov games and I think their coaches are as positive as MHS, HHS or AHS's. I love you boyz and how sweet you all are! As for Rainbow you are correct again! He broke more than a few rules. I said it once and I'll say it again...I don't think Quarles is breaking the rules or even bending them for that matter! I think he and his program is above board. You really shut me up on the 3 HHS recruits. Arguably the best basketball team HHS has ever had. However, I still think those boys were county playaz because they did live in Rockford. Let's talk about me and you going out? Did we? I am telling you Lord...I am not anti the red rebels! I have pulled for them for the past 25 years. I have a lot of my friends and my chillin' even going there. I just think the red rebels recruit from all of Blount County. That is a fact, for real! I wish Blount County had just one high school then the county would be unstoppable! Can you imagine Sarah Landers, Cait McMahan, Audra McBrayer and Whitney Anthony all on the same team? Who could beat them. Speaking of Sarah Landers...where did she go to Middle school? Uh oh, yep you are right she is another precious playa from the county! Love you boyz and how those guyz look in those uni's!!! Where you at Gov Man, no vandalism today?

By the way, I have one more post Rebel Ron, you are right you don't hear Red Rebel fans cry....unless you are in the stands with them when Barry Mathis, Tom Hatcher, Randy Hooper, or Nelson Russell makes one of their standard horrific calls and then all they do is cry! Did I mention how cute those boyz are in their Uni's? Love you boyz!

Rebel Ron... Sour grapes, me? I don't think so. My children went/go to Maryville! I am just puttin' it out their baby! Gov Man sounds like he knows what he is talking about with the "Chevy Van" thang too! You need to face reality...the red rebels and even the red "devils" recruit. They do have the program and the tradition that Ted Wilson helped build by recruiting county playaz. I will also call that bluff on MHS playaz that went to any county school and made an impact. If I am not mistaken the greatest Maryville recruiter of all (Don Sentell)recruited a Friendsville boy named Danny Ray Spradlin. He was not an impact playa at all was he? Please don't mistake how cute I think these boyz are for any sour grapes. I just want Maryville to draw from their own little pot there around the new Wal-Mart and let the county schools reap the benefits of Lanier, Eagleton, Rockford, Friendsville, etc. Nobody picked up on the Brett Coulter recruiting slam earlier did they? Love you guys! Tee hee!

Boys, thanks for the input on hating or not liking Maryville! They recruited Mike Casteel, Ricky Maples, Greg Casteel, Ronnie Irwin, the kid from Lanier Buster Smith, etc. Ole what-his-name, uh, wannabee, you know Coulter. He recruits all the time! I think the Jeff County boy Quarles is pretty above board, however, Ted Wilson would cross any lines to recruit playaz! I just think the kids look great in their uni's. Man Gov Man you are really up on this stuff! How come you were late with the Fulkerson post? Also, rumor has it John Reed vandalized the Gov press box and is going to do the same to the Red Rebels! Any truth to that boyz?

I really like those Govs and the Mountaineers are ok too! The red rebels recruit all of the county playaz!

I believe the shot doctor is retired and taking care of Kipper's (a.k.a Cornbread)beautiful daughter(s). Kip had a stint as the head coach at "The King's Academy" and now works in middle school at some Blount Coounty school!

What about WB's head coach, is he goign?
