On Halloween Lenoir City and Loudon will be playing a BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE game! This will be the most interesting game b/c of how close they are together. It will be fun fun!!

Thank you thourough97-at least some of us know what we are talking about. We had a girl play for us, and she weighed a good 240-which was not all fat. She came out and lifted weights with the team, practiced with the team, and put her heart into it and plus she was good. They have baseball for guys who want to play softball. They have powder puff for girls, but its not the same. You wear flags and pull them to "tackle". There's nothing like getting out there and tackling wearing pads instead of yanking someone's flag. They have guys soccer and girls soccer with the same rules. So why don't they have girls football with the same rules??

I want to know how you can say Lenoir City is lame. They are 3-0 with wins against Oliver Springs, Scott Co., and Morristown East. What makes you think they are so lame?? Fulton will probably win on Friday, but it will be a great game. You never know though.

If the line would make a hole...you could have a girl at running back that will hit her hole and run through it. If she's quick it won't matter if she has the body or not to get tackled. Same thing for wide reciever. If she's quick enough and fast enough it won't matter. And I know girls who are fast enough. It don't matter that a girl can get hurt. Anyone can get hurt. Who is the smallest guy playing football?? We have someone who is 5'2 around 130.

Does anyone have any predictions on the turn out of this game??

I know girls who could do so much better than some guys out on the field. There is nothing wrong with a girl playing football. Guys think they will lose their dignity if a girl is better than them at something.

I am a girl who would love to play football!! It is my most favorite sport. I was told I was too little to play,(which I am), otherwise I would. We do have a powder puff team, which allows girls to play, but there is no rule stating girls can't play for their highschool football team. We had a girl playing for us my freshman year. She wasn't bad at all. She was quite big and was on the line, but I think most guys respected her and tried not to knock her down. Girls should be able to play if they are willing to put the dedication and heart into it.

I think Lenor City will win...by at least 10-maybe more. Who are the key players of Scott County other than the quarterback??

I think Lenoir City will do good this year! They got a new and better coach. They beat Miggs County today in a scrimmage 12-0. I think they will come out with a bigger surprise than most people think, but who knows. :justwrestle:
