People on here blow up Bradley to be almost as good as Curt was. Bradley was a VERY overrated QB! I watched him play many times and Satch is right he threw to one WR and handed it to #15 the rest of the time. As for his rocket for an arm...I dont know what QB yall were watching but that is not a rocket for an arm its accurate yes but not really all that strong. Bradley looked good because of the other players around him. He as an individual player was average to say the least... I know there will be plenty of hate coming my way for this post but i am just speakng the truth

The turning point of the game was the perfectly executed fake punt that clintwood did. It was a crazy play that really turned the momentum. Volunteer never could get anything going after that. It was really a close game until the 4th qtr. Volunteer looked like they got really tired towards the end of the third qtr and they let the robinson kid run all over them. Clintwood has a very good team they should win state. As for volunteer it doesnt get any easier. If they dont improve and improve fast they may not win another game.

ummmm i would say he will be watched some this year and watched very closely his junior and senior seasons. He is one HECK of a player and is going to be the next great one at DB.

Im predicting South to go 6-4 in the regular season and 3rd in the mountain lakes conference behind TN High and Betsy. I just dont see them being very good now that Phillips is gone. But good luck though hope they prove me wrong.

I dont know the Rogers kid but have heard a lot about him. If he is as fast as people say then I can definatly see him getting some PT this season, now whether or not he will start that may be hard to do as a freshman because you dont see many freshman start in football. Look at Curt Phillips from South for example, as good of a player that he was in high school he did not start one game as a freshman. As for the weight room comments, being strong is good but being fast is even better and that, from what i hear, is definatly something that he has going for him. High school football and even college football is ALL about speed!!! How strong you are really doesnt mean anything if you can outrun everyone. I can see him getting plenty of playing time this season because to be honest with you I havent heard a single word being said about the RB's that are returning for volunteer and dont remember seeing any underclassmen RB's play last season so as far as i am concerned Rogers has just as good of a chance at starting as anyone. As for the rest of the team I look for the falcons to win more than three games like Ed said and making the playoffs is definatly possible. They need to really utilize the skill players such as Bennett and Waterson. Like I said before speed is everything and Bennett and Waterson are quick so get the ball to them as much as possible whether that be through the passing game or running game GET THE BALL IN THEIR HANDS. I would like to see them mix it up and put one of them in as QB every now and then kinda like Tennessee did with Gerald Jones last year. keep opposing defenses honest. If volunteer can do this they will be successful on the offensive side of the ball. I dont know much and havent heard much about the O-line and the defense so im not going to comment on them. Volunteer has a great group of Juniors that will for sure make some noise in the Big 9 so watch out for them. Also look out for Science Hill obviously, DB should be down but never out of course and Crockett along with Volunteer will be a sleeper in the Big 9. Im not real sure who has what in the Watauga or the IMAC. Good luck to everyone this season

They have one senior on the whole team that starts and I am pretty sure the rest of the starters are juniors.

watch out for Volunteer and crockett they are the sleepers. Volunteer has a very talented junior class so watch out the next couple of years

DB 31 Farragut 26 Although I am a Volunteer Fan I am pulling for the local teams. The team seems to really be playing well as of late and the outstanding Freshman in Sensabaugh I am sure will be ready for Farragut Freshman or not! Indians Win this one

If Volunteer wants to have a chance against the Vikings they are going to have to play better than they did vs Mo West and Cherokee. Maybe if they play like they did against Mo East or Greeneville minus the turnovers they might have a shot. Good Luck Falcons!!!

In the northeast Over the last few years these teams in my eyes have made huge improvements and continue to get better..... Volunteer-Goes from being a doormat in the conference almost ever year to contending for the top 2 seeds in the conference. Sullivan East-Goes from never winning to having a winning season almost ever year. David Crockett - I know they arent a great team this year but from what they have been I consider this team a HUGE improvement.

Volunteer has the more experienced team. They have a 4 year starter at QB in Cradic and two 3 year starters in Barlow and Sandige. They know what they are going to have to do to beat East. VHS hasn't beat East since the 02 season. This should be a great game! Falcons 20 Canes 13

Also I would agree that I believe this loss belong to coach Ritz. Its about time to hang it up coach.

East should have a good team in 07 but I would watch our for Volunteer they have 22 seniors this year all of them contributed in 06. Should be an interesting year.
