The d2 west is going good. the championship game is tomorrow at 6:00 unless st.benedict loses. they are undefeated as of right now. St.benedict played FACS last nite and won 5-1. Briarcrest and SBEC played today, SBEC lost in the last inning. Briarcrest is playing Tipton-Rosemark now and the winner plays FACS tomorrow before the championship game. the winner plays St.benedict. FACS has a good chance of being in the championship game. Onebad thing for FACS is one of their pitchers got hit in the pitching hand by a line drive in the ST.benedict vs. FACS game. Its not broken but theres a knot on it and she will probably loose the finger nails on 2 of her fingers. it was pretty bad i hear. it was a really hard hit ball.she will probably still play but i doubt she will be pitching. but everything should pan out by tomorrow nite at 6:00.

there are alotta good young players out there. any ideas about state this year? who do u think will make the cut and go all the way?

This is definitly not a legal pitch. one foot has to remain on the ground at all times. ima pitcher and im not even sure how u would get much speed comeing completly off the ground like that. it takes away ur leg drive which is where u get alotta ur power and speed from. some pitchers come off the ground with both feet a little and umps dont call it, but that pic. the girl is way off the ground.

in the st.benedict vs. wc game it was 1-0 wc the hole game til st.benedict scored in the 4th or 5th inning to force an international tiebreaker. st.benedict held wc in the top of the inning and then scored during their part of the tiebreaker. winning 2-1

Ah!! doggiebonez, st.benedict has some great young players. they have a really talented 8th grader who can hit and a freshman whose got a good arm and can also hit. st.benedicts main pitchers are soph. all 3 are really talented pitchers and hitters. st.benedicts catcher is also a soph. she has an awesome arm and can really hit. keep a watch out for all of these ladies.
