Herzog is not a good person! As far as disciplne he did use it for certain players. I was at the meeting to start the season last year and heard a lot of big talk from Richard and he is a hypocrite! Zero tolerance my butt. If you were on Daniels good side he didnt like you. He is a control freak who for some reason thinks he invented the game of football. And whatever you say I can tell for a fact that 95% of the players dont like him at all beacause of his pompass attitude.I am glad we only had to deal with him for a year and hopefully if Dr Anthony is smart she will listen to the parents because where there is smoke there is fire and these kids are only going to go thru the motions as long as he is the coach. They dont like him and they are not going to give their all for him for that reason. Good luck to Page and hopefully Herzog will be hitting the highway soon! Zman

Dont count the Patriots out just yet. They are playing with a lot of heart and there is a new attitude around the program. I know it will be a very big challenge to knock off the defending state champs but anything is possible. The Page offense I feel is going to be the key to this game as they must sustain some long drives to keep the defenense off the field and rested.If this happens then Page will have a chance. Page vs Independence Thursday

Houston Bagsby is no longer on the team. Zack Hood is a sophmore and Zack Freeman is a junior battling for the back up spot. The Patriots play against Independece in a scrimmage on Thursday.

Does anybody know how a team that qualified for the AAU division I nationals can enter in the division II nationals when the AAU rule book plainly says no team or players from a team that has qualified for DI is elligibe to play DII. Am I missing something or can somebody please help me?

Who won the 12u state tournament in Lynchburg last weekend. And what teams got bids to the nationals?

The competition will no doubt be tough in Lynchburg. That is what I love about AAU is good quality teams. Good luck to all and may the best team win.

Does anyone know who won the 12U championship game in The Green Wave Shootout last weekend? Saw some great games in this tournament. The Ballerz VS Gym Rats game was a classic with the Gym Rats winning on a last second shot. I think both these teams could make some noise in the substate!
