don't know the head count but the hurricanes (div III?) are made up of columbia central and c.a. players div III state runnerup columbia magic has c.a. jr hi, whitthorne, central jv, zion, and spring hill players.

props to ccs and anyone else whose school actually supports the soccer program. C.A. soccer, boys and girls, jr high and varsity, is operated and coached by parents/volunteers. the boys had an incredible previous three years, with 3 srs. off last years team playing college soccer this past fall. this years team was down talent wise, but the work ethic and desire remained. last fall the girls team had great success. however, continued success is highly unlikely without the support of the school.

who was the obnoxious coach looking person at your district champ game vs columbia that got on the ref's case as soon as the game started? he continued until who i think was your principal went over and talked to him. he did however continue to heckle the columbia players throughout the game. he didn't represent shelbyville very well.

C.A. plays page again for region championship. with a 0-0 tie and a 2-1 page district title victory, looks like this one should be close also. both teams will have to play their best game saturday to advance to memphis, especially the team traveling to chatty. good luck to both and yes, fairview, i think you guys are pretty good. looking forward to competing with you again next year....
