  1. BA 37 MC 34 BA Ball MC 48 2:32 2nd 9...2min 1st down BA Game over
  2. Coach R, Potter did not take over from his Dad, there were at least two coaches between them. I believe the year before Ralph went to McCallie, the Blue Tornado was winless, and in his first year they won one game....then things started to turn around. The McCallie "dynasty" won their first state championship in 2001. Nice try though
  3. also checked the tape...he stayed in the game. If anyone knows how to take a video clip from a dvd...i can post the clip of that hit for you to download. its nasty
  4. ...what a loser huh? even banze rarely posts here anymore I'm just looking out for my boys back in chatt-town
  5. There was that 92 yarder a couple years ago
  6. Didn't know he was interested in the Pack. He can come here and have three years beating up on fellow Chattanoogan Adarius Bowman who plays for the wimpy tarheels.
  7. Boyd is definitely better than McCallie Sure, comparing common opponents isn't perfect...but Boyd lost to a terrible Baylor team that McCallie completely abused. anspa...Tyner might be able to hang with most of the Super 7 this year, but I doubt they could beat MBA or BA. Tyner has not fared well against either McCallie or Baylor in the past few years either. They did beat McCallie last year, but in the past three years they are 1-5 against the two super 7 schools in Chattanooga, and Baylor hasn't competed for a top spot in the league in the past 5 years.
  8. Well, in the past 5 years, McCallie has lost one game in Chattanooga (last year against Tyner). This streak includes: 3 wins over Tyner Wins over Red Bank, Hixson, Bradley County(2), Rhea County, Baylor(5) Talent clearly does not win games....no way would Tyner beat BA/MBA
  9. I agree with most of your points. However, I think that your point about coaching tends to favor McCallie being ranked higher. If they could beat Tyner in week one, I think they could beat them again after Potter has had 10 weeks to make adjustments. I'd say an early season matchup favors the more talented team. Either way, I'm pumped about the dominating win today. CBHS will be tough as will whoever McCallie faces in the playoffs.
  10. Final: McCallie 35 Baylor 6 That makes it 6 straight for the Blue Tornado and only last year was even close. No playoffs for Baylor....I don't understand why they aren't playing 10 games. At least they beat Boyd "we're good enough to be in the Super 7" Buchanan.
  11. McCallie moving up? They are KILLING Baylor They did beat tyner. No way could tyner or cleveland hang with MBA/BA either.
  12. Live Audio This broadcast is classic.....two Baylor kids trying to put positive spin on this #### whooping. "Hopefully Baylor can meet McCallie again in the playoffs, because we really need to beat McCallie." -GREAT IDEA...or McCallie could just get a bye. Jake Dougher had 2 kicks in a row that went less than 10 yards....an extra point attempt and a blown onside kick.
  13. 28-0 McCallie. 11th minutes left in the 4th. "It's pretty quiet here on this side of the stadium. Really there hasn't been much to cheer about all day as McCallie has totally dominated."
  14. Great report, fetish. Glad to see my boys holding it down. Yet another highly touted back fails to beat the Blue Tornado. Tell John Cougar I said whats up.
  15. SuperSteve comes up with the best comment of the thread... Baylor and Boyd are powerhouses now? A year away from Chattanooga must have me out of the loop. Remind me of the last time Baylor "competed for their respective championship"?
  16. Running everyday for a week won't get you in shape.
  17. Back to the topic....McCallie has lost exactly ONE game in the Chattanooga area in the past 5 years. ...and what teams has Boyd beaten that are "much better than Baylor" I didn't see CPA play last year....but I did see Baylor POUND them the year before
  18. Not playing at USC anymore. Paul could have played MLS if he wanted...guess he didn't though.
  19. According to the McCallie website. Go Blue!
  20. There are not 9 teams in this state better than Brentwood Academy. They lost an out of state game and lost to McCallie when the Tornado were playing at their best. They have manhandled pretty much everyone else.

    BA FOOTBALL

Wow, BA at its best. My man Panfan is gonna love that post. With your win at all costs attitude, I would guess that you are somehow related to Flatt. Respect whoever you want, but McCallie has beaten you three times in a row, including twice in Nashville (the state final was more like a McCallie home game considering we had more fans willing to drive 2 hours to the game than you had willing to drive 5 minutes). BA has a good shot to win their first Super 7 Clinic Bowl this year, but until then don't act like an idiot. [Edited by hdog16 on 10-17-02 2:26P]

    BA vs. Baylor

The Super 7 is conference of SEVEN strong football teams (ok, maybe not this year, but usually). The conference is not known for its one outstanding team, but for the high level of play that can be found from top to bottom (again, usually). Plus, national rankings are nearly meaningless. With thousands and thousands of high schools in the country, you either have to be a known powerhouse for several years running, or go undefeated and have a big name star like Riggs or Ingle Martin. So many of USA Today's top 25 are the same each year.
