Guys Guys as interesting as this discussion is can we please get back to the topic of the boyd baylor game?

Seems like a lot of referees are messing up calls now days. Its not just one embarrising miss like yall are talking about but four or five missed calls a game. I dont thinks half of these guys know what they are doing out there. TSSAA needs to train them better or get better guys.

It is a final at Finley.... Baylor wins 12-6. I thought this was a hard fought ball game. Congradulations to Baylor you guys have a great team this year. Obviously this was a defensive ball game. Boyd came out looking a little jittery in the first half but they brought it togethor in the second half and u saw how good a team they are. Baylors nose guard #65 man u are an athlete good luck to u man. Akins was throwing from on the run most of the time tonight so it was tough for him to find his recievers. All in all i think boyd proved they can play with a very good divion 2 team. And both teams proved that they are going to be very good this year. Good luck in the season baylor.

Boyd has beaten mcallie the last two years in a row in scrimmages. Ask any of the coaching staff or players of mcallie and they will tell u that they definitly respect boyds program. As for baylor well i guess we have to wait until friday then we will see. Boyd is definitly ready to move over into division 2 ball.

In that case all other 1a teams are pretty high.

What are yalls predictions on the upcoming boyd vs baylor game? It will be played at Finley Stadium this friday. Both teams looked good in their openers. They are two private schools who are always competing for their respective championships. They both have great athletes too. It will be a close one but im picking Boyd 24-14.

Boyd Buchannan's trainer "tank" as we call him is a great manager. He isnt able to play football because of severe asthma, and he loves the sport so much he wants to be part of the team. things would be a lot tougher without him. Its great that we are saluting all the managers in Tn they do a great job!

You have a serious problem if u need to hear your coach cuss to get fired up. A real football player wuldnt need to hear that to get fired up to play. Your coach cussing doesnt make him down to earth, it just shows how low of a peson he is.

not to mention the hard hitting linebacking core of boyds defense and a great safety in Ryan Headden boyds defense will be great this year.

I think the foul language should be kept to a minimum on the football field. Yes players and coaches are going to vent some frustration from time to time and the four letter words are going to be heard. But overall players and coaches dont need to be using them every other word. Refs try to control the language, but they arent going to throw a personal foul on it unless a player is just going on a cussing spree. Football is a violent sport so violent words are going to be said though.

Of cource the mother of all 1a games in east tn is by far Boyd vs South Pitt. It is always a war.

I think it is a repeat of last years state championship between CPA and Boyd
