I think both sides should stop talking trash. All the SP people talking about how many gold balls you have wont win the game friday night, but on the other hand, all you Boyd fans talking about how many times yall have beat SP in the last few years wont win it either. I think the game earlier in the season should not even be looked at because anybody that saw it could tell that SP made way too many mistakes. If both teams bring their A games this should be the top game in any classification so far this year. This game will be decided on mistakes. SP by 6.

Have you not seen South Pittsburg's field? Maybe you are thinking of another South Pittsburg because they have one of the nicest fields that I have seen.

Without a doubt, S. Pittsburg vs. Boyd is easily the top 1A game this week and maybe of the year.

DRA13, i will also agree with you. South Pittsburg doesnt have the toughest schedule, but both Grundy County and Sweetwater are quality teams and SP didnt have any trouble from either. We will just have to wait till the Boyd Buchanan game to see how good they really are.

In my opinion, this game is between the top 2 teams in 1A. Anybody that says this will be a blowout on either side is absolutely crazy. This game will come down to who really wants it more. What is everybody else's opinion on this game. SP by a TD.

I agree with you Pirate2003, I believe this year's South Pittsburg team is the best I've seen in a while, and the people from Cloudland may be underestimating them because this year's South Pittsburg team is much much better than the team that played Cloudland in the playoffs a couple years ago.

South Pittsburg has a huge group of very talented seniors including Ron Cook, Ben Blevins, David Cagle, Eric Harris, and more, with Ron Cook having the best year so far. Ron Cook in my opinion is easily one of, if not the best player in 1A.

This is will be a tough game for both teams, but in the end its gonna be South Pittsburg by 2 TDs
