Let's hear some predictions for the upcoming game between region Rivals, Oneida and Midway.

Who are the best receivers of 1A football? My pick, considering the lack of experinence the kid has, is Louis Armstrong of Oneida.

In 1A football, I would have to go with Kris Chambers of Oneida. Not too big or strong, but his heart is in the game. A good O-line leader.

In region 2 A, the play-off teams are nearly always consistent. My picks are Coalfield, Greenback, CAK, and Oneida.

I would definitely have to go with Mark Cunningham from CAK as well. A good QB leading an upcoming team.

Here are my picks: (1) Boyd Buchanan (2) Cloudland (3) Greenback (4) Oneida (5) CAK (soon to be, anyway) Perhaps some would say Midway ahead of Oneida, but the Indians' discipline is stronger and will help them win games Midway can't.

I agree, Taft's special teams are high-powered. Oneida had better execute if they really want to overcome this team's speed.

I don't think the injuries Rhyne Douglas suffered will damage Oneida's game as badly as most seem to believe. In fact, it may even strengthen it as the team will be forced to pass the ball more often -- putting the ball in the hands of a reliable receiver like Louis Armstrong.

I think a good kicking prospect is David Grigsby from Oneida -- you can never underestimate the power of a good kicking game. I'd have to agree with PennyPlay about Louis Armstrong as well -- Nice speed and soft hands.

My pick is Oneida by 13. Taft does have speed and weapons, but I think Oneida's tradition and discipline will pull them through this one.
