Brewer and Portland over Lee and Mlk by 3 in overtime....

That has to be the most Idiotic thing that i have ever heard... If they recruited, They would have won the district last year, or maybe even gotten out of the district... No disrespect intented to Macon County, just trying to make a valid point..

STEVEN BONNER... Guard from Westmoreland averaged 19 points per game, and scored 524 points on the season.. Was also the defensive stopper, and averaged 7or8 boards a game....

I don't think that there was any disrespect intended.... It seemed to me like more of a compliment... Someone is a little TOUCHY.... TC is a good team and they deserve to be where they are... Good luck to them in the sub-state. Who do they play???

Another bad thing about it was that the coaches of this district took a vocal vote, And the TROUSDALE COUNTY coach even voted for SARAH JONES of Westmoreland.. So it looks like Kaja Moore's own coacht didn't think that she deserved the district MVP...... BUT OH WELL!!!!!

It is pretty bad when other coaches out of the district appoligize to the coach of Westmoreland for some of the other coaches votes... Those of which mostly came from the teams in the lower portion of the district... Trousdale finished 6th in the district, and without the so called "MVP" they wouldnt have finished worse than 6th... They could have beaten Boyd Christian and MJCH without her, because those were the only two teams in the district that they have beaten!!!!

Even though you are my boy tennisguy, I will have to go against you and say that Westmoreland will win this game by a final of 58-52.. Both teams will be very confident, but for some reason I think the Eagles will come out on top!!!

Ill have to go with Westmoreland... They have a post that has developed nicely, who is incredibly strong. And a the best scoring Point guard in the region.. Probably the best player in the region with the exception of snow.. I like the way that the teams match up, and this should be a great game... Good luck to all

Westmoreland played an excellent game on the defensive end of the court... I don't think that Picket Co. is used to being held to 4 points in an entire quarter.. They were up 16-8 at the end of one, but Westmoreland made a run and went up 21-20 at the half.... Then in the second half Westmoreland outscored pickett 47 to 32.. The two technical fouls against Pickett and also the Intentional helped Westmoreland to pull away... Bailey was held to two buckets (I think) after the first quarter... Alex Oldham did a great job on defense by shutting down Bailey... Great game by the Eagles.. Probably the best defensive game they have played all year, and the best overall game since the first game of the year against Portland... Final score West 68 PC 52...

I was talking about Westmoreland... Not Macon County... Westmoreland lost to S.C. yes, but they played probably the worst game of their season.... Don't base a team on one game.. The same can be said for Macon County... They are a good team as well, and have loads of potential..

I also like Westmoreland's potential to pull the upset... I think they have all the tools to do well but they just can't seem to play up to theit potential.....

I heard the final score wah 44-32. Wasn't at the game so don't quote me!!!

What you also have to remember is that Westmoreland was also up in that game by 14... They collapsed late in the game... This time I think that Westmoreland will keep their cool, and their big lead..... It should be a good game with Westmoreland pulling away late third or early fourth...

The best record in school history (21-10) and a trip to sub-state is no good???? are you CRAZY???

I would also say that my spoiler will be FCS over Gville..... With Westmoreland winning it all....

I didn't state any facts that weren't valid...... Westmoreland lost to fcs 3-1 in the regular season, and 10-0 the other time...(starting a freshman pitcher)...and to Orangecrush, I wasn't trying to imply that fcs recruits.... sorry for the mix up... On the same token, I don't know if fcs does recruit, nor do i care.. Heck, i'm sure that the students at Fcs don't know if they recruit, but i will say that is something that should be discussed on the public and private board...

I am gonna go with the obvious choice... Westmoreland... They should win it again.. They've only lost one game to an 8a team in 2 years.. They will beat Gville in the c'ship by 4.. They will not have 3 starters foul out this time!!!

The Macon Co. and Westmoreland game to open up the season should be a big test for both teams, and tell wether or not each of them can live up to the hype...

Thank you for the correction, but Boyd finished 8th not having one a district game... And another gville and Wland game would be great, though i would have to give the upper hand to Gville... They are the best until someone beats them....
