  1. Would have like to seen the boys 2-0, but we'll bounce back against Coffee. Looks like Friday night was Rob Nunley's last for the SS. What up with that?
  2. Agreed, Hargis. It is over.... The last time I heard anything was that they had about 12-14 applicants for the job. I hope they act swiftly in hiring. They used to have a pretty good turn-out for aau teams, but it fell as well. I know Coach Panter at Middle School has 4th/5th team I believe so she is trying! Ladies, we are proud of your exhausting efforts this year and in years past. Always be the good example and do not become a bad example for those little eyes that look up to you. I hope the next coach has time and some backing from the community in order to right this ship. Everyone keep their heads high and practice hard! Then play hard! then win...... Good luck Warren Co. Take care....Peace out!

First, Congratulations to Tessa King, junior post/wing for Warren Co. for being voted on the All-District team. Also to all that were voted - good job ladies!!! Second, good luck to the Lady Pioneers tomorrow @ CookeVegas. Lastly, I came on here to post coaching records and call for a change, but I just want everyone to know that I'm done..... with it all......the supporters and the nay-sayers, everything, I want everyone on this site to believe me when I say "I want what's best for these girls and this county!" and realize how this rings true with all sports associated with WC. From Coach Madewell in football, Coach Holt in baseball, and all the way to Coach Upton in ladies softball- I am behind you and bleed the red and blue for you!! My money, time, and effort supports each program and I, as a fan, am through with thinking something will happen after the season is over-year after year! I wish no one to lose their job, but sometimes those people have to look in the mirror, realize their faults and take the blame for their share in the matter. Any coach can take the wins, but REAL COACHES can take the losses as well!!! Good luck to all the student-athletes in their futures, I am done with it. Thanks for having a great site CoachT and PHargis keep up the good work, you are a very insightful person and try to keep Pioneer14 grounded, swami's head might get too large the site!!! lol Peace out! Goodnight and God Bless. /sleep.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="-_-" border="0" alt="sleep.gif" />
  4. Anyone heard about the game tonight against Dekalb Co.? Please tell me they won!!!
  5. I was hoping for a better outcome, but 3 points in a half????? Sorry, but that is unacceptable, looks like they were not prepared, BUT I guess that's everyone else's fault!
  6. Any news on freshman boys from last night?
  7. Cookeville strated off the game scoring the first 12 points, these aren't true box scores but it was like 15-2 or 17-2 after the first quarter, then pushed to a 20 point lead and cut to 13 at the half 26-13. Coach Odom played her bench the third against our starters and it hung around 14 - 18 points with the final being 49-31. Tessa King had a great night scoring for the Lady Pioneers, I think she had close to 20 of the 31 points. Helton took care of the scoring load for the Lady Cavs. That's all I got, Hargis, sorry we don't put the scores in too much here in the WC, wonder why?????
  8. With the last district game for each team, will my Lady Pioneers pull thru for their first district victory or will the Lady Patriots prevail. I say Pioneers by 6! What do you say swami?
  9. Thanks for the classy post OaklandPat. I agree, give the upcoming freshmen some props for having a great year, by the way, will someone please update us on the game from Sat. and upcoming games, hopefully the chapionship rematch between us and Blackman!!! Go play HARD and put the monkey to sleep tomorrow night against CookeVegas!!!!!!
  10. Why haven't they named the football field after him yet? Not the stadium, but the field and retire his number?Hello
  11. About the game tomorrow night, does siegel have any injuries we should be concerned about? Coach Bush has them playing well right now, just seeing if there could be any upset? Now responding to pioneerparent's post; if anyone could watch one of our games right now, they would agree that there is NO passion in these girls which breaks my heart because they are all great kids! They understand and their parents understand that they have hitched their wagon to a tree stump and this team is going nowhere. All I say is girls, pick your head up, play hard, and let NO ONE take your pride away from you!!!!!
  12. True, I think an out-of-town person with no ties would be a good fit. I always thought the best in the county should be able to play at middle school, just like county kids do with baseball, football, and soccer. If they don't make it, they could go back to play in their own elementary school. Then you could have your best playing together, building chemistry and learning by playing harder competition. The ones that didn't make it, can have more playing time and hopefully develop more skills. Just my 2 cents. I just want these girls to do well, I have said that for years. Some of you may believe me, some not. Good luck with the Lady Warriors tonight!!!
  13. Very well said, good post. Good luck tuesday against Riverdale! Keep your heads up!!
  14. Good luc /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> k tonight!!!!
  15. Just stating facts about them pounding the ball inside to Yslas, that was the turning point of the game, do you not agree with my assessment? About Bree, I didn't know if she got to play or not, she is a good ballplayer and I know she has had some injuries, just concerned. Know the question is reversed, PHargis what implications are YOU making?
  16. Godd job Lauren. She finished with 18 last night. Tessa King with 10, Macaulli Clendenon and Sarah Roller both had 6 along with others in the scoring column. Did Bree Smith play last night? Sparta pounded it in to Yslas the WHOLE second quarter where they outscored us 25-9. The other three quarters were equal. Good luck in Lebanon Friday night.

I'm soory, but it is not her fault she didn't have evry student's school they were zoned for wgen these fliers were passed out. This is the worst suspension ever!!! This is just a cop-out for those crazy parents that wanted something done. Ticky-Tac, terrible.
  18. Good job guys! Now just put it together and finish the game. Keep playing hard for four quarters!!!! Stay proud and stay strong. Proud of you guys, now make yourself proud. Nitro, heard one warrior belly-flopped with the ball, but somehow managed to keep his pivot foot planted!? lol Jay Walker couldn't believe it either!!!
  19. Thanks Nitro. I didn't realize Hall, Seamos, and Blair were still juniors too. Good mix of kids in the soph. and junior classes, then add in the freshman and has the makings of a good rotation! Keep the faith and play the hardest you can play! When you walk off the floor, ask yourself if you gave it your all. Peace Out!!
  20. The little time they played Friday they played with a purpose and attacked on defense and offense, I think one player even scored his first varsity basket off a great offensive board. Mount and Thrower continue to impress me with hustle and play making. Just trust the coaches and your abilities and you will do fine. Nitro, how many sophomores are on the varsity squad ? Braseel (Jr.) (sorry for spelling) has alot of potential too. Good luck in Sparta and Lebanon. If Brian reads this, we miss ya and our prayers are with you.
  21. Good luck this week in Sparta and Lebanon.
  22. I know, that is why this computer is locked down with my specific password and username, not the site the WHOLE computer! To answer a previous question the Lady Pioneers lost to Oakland I think the score was 45-36 or 39. Not too sure the final, but one team had to get their first district win, just wish it was the other way around. They have Blackman this Friday, who is coming off another district win over White Co. Boy! Chad has them playing great ball!!
  23. Sorry folks, ol' hoop did not type those words. This is what happens when more than one person borrows your computer. Never have I said anything bad towards Hargis, so understand this is the hoopster for real! Also, this computer is not the only place these girls hear this stuff, like in class, at the movies, in stores, everywhere in McVegas, not only on the T. I have always supported our local girls and boys basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, football, golf, track, and even swimming!! This county means a lot to me AND family, we just want what everybody else wants. SS-Some Success, not alot, but a little......This is the real hoop20 signing off- Peace out!!!
  24. Trust me, Nitro. Hargis knows everything, just ask him. Why hasn't he/she solved the war yet or created a cure for the world's diseases? If you post on here, you are qualified to diagnose the problems here in the WC. If you haven't followed these teams for years and watched or in the know, keep the philosophy in your county, Hargis!! Like I said before, I respect her personally, but not professionally in coaching. You may think I am attacking you, BUT you try to sound smarter than you really are.
  25. She is a good teacher (serious note), so I am sure someone would want her to teach at their school if she ever decided to leave. This Tuesday's game will be the best oppurtunity for a district win. Good luck, ladies. Since school is out will they reschedule the Oakland game or play??? I f anyone knows, please let us know!
