a 6' 8" middle school post is kind of hard to believe, but last year we had a 6' 10" 7th grader. Unfortunately for Tn, he moved to Califorinia. What is the big guys name?

They will win it all again. I am not a Giles county fan but after seeing the players they are returning, especially Tyler Smith, they have me believing. I would be suprised if Tyler Smith didnt win Mr.Basketball. And don't talk bout Giles fans talking their players up cuz I am a BA fan.

How is Brentwood Academy not ranked in the top 10 after winning last year? They lost only 2senoirs, and returned all their huge factors (Brandon, Bone, etc.). I dont think they will win State again but come on they need to be Top10.

Will a high school player transfers, what is the eligibility rule? I have heard that they have to sit out a year and i have heard that they can just come right in and play. Anyone know?

I played against Ben earlier this year. He is a solid ball player. He is one of those guys good players love to play with because you can tell he wants to win. He plays hard and unselfishly.I don't know about in football.

Well boys, middle school basketball starts this week. I know next weekend their is the Lenoir City Tip-Off Tournament.Who are you guys picking to be tough teams there and why? Greenback has a game before then.Any other schools have games during this week?Man am I eager for things to get under way!

BA is my choice because of gut feeling.Really is too close to call.Should be a great one.

I think BA is better than Franklin. BA has more talent from what I have seen and by the number of players they have getting d-1 scholarships every year. Also they hasve better coaching.Carlton Flatt may be the best coach in Tennessee's high school football history. Since I went to BA for middle school last year (I no longer attend BA as I move to the Knoxville/Lenoir City area) I know the future is only looking brighter.Hopefully the can get over the hump and bring home a state title soon. So I think BA is better but thats just my opinion and I am biased so....

Brentwood Academy's Middle School team is 7-0. I know they went undefeated the past 3 seasons at least but i think it has been 5seasons. Now that's a dominant middle school program.
