Maryville will host Gibbs Farragut will travel to Karns This is an odd number year for hosting. There are four scenarios Maryville and Karns both win, Maryville will travel to the Karns on Wednesday. Maryville and Farragut both win, Farragut will travel to Maryville to play on Wednesday. Gibbs and Karns both win, Gibbs will travel to Karns to play on Wednesday. Gibbs and Farragut both win, Farragut will travel to Gibbs. Basically Karns will host Wednesday if they win and Farragut will travel in any scenario if they win.

If west wins they are the 5. West and Bearden split during the year so it goes to records against top team. Both split with farragut so it moved to record against 2 seed and Bearden beat Maryville, west lost both. West is essentially playing tonight to be either 5 or 6.

dyersburg is going to have a tough road to have a chance to make it.. mcminn central is a really talented team... and lipscomb pitcher shut down dyersburg and held them to a few hits.. only run coming off a bomb by the 3 hitter...

The Tournament is finished.... Catholic beat Stone Memorial to win that side of the bracket (Catholic, Anderson County, and Stone Memorial)..... CAK beat Kingston to win their side of the bracket (CAK, Kingston, Loudon)... The district championship was Catholic (Vistior) vs CAK (Home Team) played at Knoxville Catholic at 7:00 on May 9 Catholic: 9 CAK: 7 pretty good game.. i think about 5 bombs were hit... defense from Catholic was pretty shaky but a great start from a sophmore lefty to keep control of the game after giving up 2 in the first... he threw 4 and gave up two... while catholic got off to a 6-2 lead in the 5th... CAK would make it 6-5 i believe and catholic scored 2 in the 7th making it 8-5... cak would have the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th and scored 2... making it 9-7 and catholic got the final out with runners on 2 and third two outs.... Really well played game by both teams considering the wet conditions... Catholic won the 4-AA district champions Regions will be: Seymore at Catholic: Monday at 7:00 CAK at Gibbs: Monday at 7:00 (i believe) Goodluck to all teams in the regionals

Yea, the regular season does not matter at this point, all that matters is the how the teams finshed in the tournament. CAK - 2-0, Catholic 2-0, AC 1-1, Loudon 1-1, Stone 0-2, Kingston 0-2 Scott 0-1. If the tournament games scheduled for today get officially cancelled and deemed unable to play today or tomorrow, it will be turned into a single elimination style; therefore, CAK and Catholic will represent District 4-AA. However, I am not really sure who would get the 1 seed for the Region if they cannot play the District Championship (i would assume CAK would get it because they finished 1st in the regular season, but they could still get that game in). I think they will end up playing the games tomorrow though....

Rorex hit that ball out and stood at home and stared at it... did not move for about 5 seconds.. that will get someone beamed in any league.. therefore i would put it in the same class as high stepping... This in no way means i condone high stepping... just stop whining about Catholic winning and nit picking about how "classless they are"... I really think if Catholic stepped on a field and didnt say anything and played a game and won there would be something classless they did if it was clap to loud or get too excited about doing something good

Bigdawg.. obviously you have affiliation with the school.. therefore i am confused why you would ever badmouth a coach that coaches there... are you bitter about something? I have seen your previous posts where you are fine with the basketball team.... i guess i just dont know why you would want to slam kids that goto a school you are affiliated with? Congrats to catholic for the district championship!
