I would have to go with Jeff Crouse for Greenfield. GHS all time leading scorer without the three point line. And he also played on a team that had three all staters before they all graduated. Adrian was a heck of a player but Jeff still comes to the gym some nights and he could still start for us. So I know if he is this good at his age (37?) then i can't imagine what he was like when he was in high school.

I would like to now dedicate this thread to avillehoops. You don't know how much inspiration people like you have given me and my teammates throughout this season. But I only have a couple questions. 1 How did we choke? True we couldnt buy a basket in the third quarter but neither could yall in the sub-state game. So really yall are the one's that choked. 2 Hardly the team we thought? That is such a stupid comment I cant even think of how to reply to it. We beat Trenton, Mitchell, the almighty ADAMSVILLE, and then went to state and beat Summertown, USJC, and then gave Temple a run for their money. In all of these games we were only picked by at most 25% on the Coacht big ones contest. So no we ain't that good. And about me taking up space. I dont like to come on here and brag about how great I am cause I am far from being great, but when you come on here and say that all I do is take up space, that is just stupid. Like I said, I dont like to come on here and brag but I only led the single A tournament teams in rebounding and was second to only one player in the tournament regardless of classification in the same category. I also was 5th in assists regardless of classification. But all I do is take up space right? Just like you did while you were in the stands watching us play.

I would like to say to all of the doubters of the Greenfield basketball team a very big thank you. I have printed off numerous pages from this board and put them up in our locker room. All of them saying how Trenton was going to end our season and that we had no shot at beating Mitchell and that Adamsville was just to much for us. I didnt get to run off any for the state tournament cause i had no internet access at the hotel but i am sure that nobody was giving us a chance either. All this did was add fuel to the fire and made us want to win even more than all ready did. So thank you for being part of our so called "cinderella run." Even though we didnt feel it was that. We deserved to be in the Championship game just as much as Trenton and Adamsville did. And to our fans i would like to say a even bigger thank you. We without a doubt had the biggest and best crowd out of any team up there. You dont know how much easier it was to play when you have that many people cheering and pulling for you. It was a very competitive scrimmage. Huntingdon has some very talented guards. All three have extremely quick first steps and get to the @@@@ very well. The first quarter was tied. G-field won the second by 10, the third by 4, and the fourth by 2. Hunt. won both the B team quarters. Huntingdon should make some noise in that region

From what I read in the Jackson today Adamsville may be at the top of 7a along with Huntingdon and Middleton. USJ was 5th in coaches poll and JCS was 3rd. It said JCS was young but big.

Creeker, If you spent as much time in the gym as you do running your mouth on this board, then you might be half as good as Skogen. How many posts has he made on this site? To me it looks like he and the rest of Temple's team have their priorities in order. 1) Work hard. 2) Win 3) Then do the talking. And no I do not go to Temple. I'm from about as far west as you can get.

I heard that one of Hall's players got suspended or expelled from school and was also kicked off the team. I'm not going to say who I heard it was or what I heard it was for because I don't know all the facts. Just wanted to know if what I heard was true.

Thanks hcity. Don't know who you are or where you are from but good luck to your team whether you play or not. Trenton is a team you need to watch. McCullar and the other guard they have(wilson?) are probably one of the best guard combonations in the region. Don't know much about the rest of them but I do know they were a good team last year and didn't lose much from what I know. I'm really glad our district gets the region this year because if a trip to substate was on the line, (not saying I'm scared cause I ain't) playing them in their own gym would not be first choice. As for Mitchell, don't have a clue about them cause we've played them once in the 4 or 5 years they have been in our region and I was in the eight grade. I do know they have a guard that is a soph. or a Jr. that is supposed to be pretty talented.

< For those who don't know me, I am Adam Vaughan from Greenfield. I play and I'm the captian for the basketball team. Coach Glisson was not on his way to school. He had finished up a individual camp earlier that day. which was July 19. He had an absece(spellcheck) tooth removed earlier in the week and was instructed by the dentist not to get hot or he would have some pain. For the pain (this is for you hcity) he had the pills PRESCRIBED to him. They were his pills and he had to intent to sell or distribute them in any way form or fashion. Coach understands what he did was wrong and he iis going to serve a 20 school day suspension starting monday. But the whole point of this is for you to get the facts straight before you make make a post like that.
