To much blood, sweat, tears and parts of my back left on the MC field for me to jump ship. I have friends on both sides that mean a great deal to me but when they play this game I am no fence-jumper. My blood runs tiger red now but the tigers aren't playing this week.

I have only seen Sequatchie at the jamboree. That is not a true game to base anything on. The tigers are learning what it takes to win vs. a team (sp) that knows how to win. I still believe that WHS will find the answers in the second half of the season.

I want to wish all the young men good luck and a safe year of playing this great sport of football. Everyone can't win the gold ball at the end of the season but everyone is a winner for doing your best to represent your family, friends, school and community in a positive manner. Good luck to the Tigers of Whitwell. Coach Barnhart and staff have done a tremendous job of getting you ready now go out and win those ballgames.

QB is young but the four main running backs you will be handing off to are not. Zeman (Junior), Hamilton (Senior), Riley (Junior), and Willis (Junior) should take the pressure off him. Hamilton will probably play QB as well. Should have one of the best lines in the valley. Taylor and Hargis should open up some nice holes. I don't see any defense during the regular season to slow you down. If the Warriors lose a regular season game it will be a very high scoring affair. This should be the best group of Warriors since 2008 which, got beat by eventual state champion Alcoa, reached the semi-finals. Not the time for the Warrior faithful to be saying how young you are. Everyone knows that this group of Warriors have won since they first put the pads on in little league. No time for excuses.

Rumor is a few of those Chiefs to the south are headed north to the land of the pirates.

I hear they make the best soup beans and corn bread in the valley PG. If you are really nice to those fine ladies at the concession stand I bet they will even throw in an onion for added taste.

That is not saying a whole lot for the yellow jackets. All those other teams will battle each other. Marion will not face but one of them in the Semi-Finals. Trousdale is not what they use to be and the test will come in the Quarter-Finals which will probably be Goodpasture. Anybody want to bet?

Can you say disgruntled parent with only three posts. Most of those girls were freshman and sophomores.

Grundy County, or anyone else, will be able to stop Blake, Deion, or Hamilton. The offensive line should be the best they have had since 2008. With the schedule Marion has I see at least 9 mercy rule games and possibly even those dreaded Pirates as well. Marion will not get a good test until at least the Quarter-Finals and maybe the Semi-Finals day after Thanksgiving. Anyone want to bet?
