  1. Rebelgirl, I have never heard of such disrespect in my life! You've got to be kidding? An administrator wants to get rid of the awards the school has earned? I am speachless. For what reason is he wanting to sell the school's legacy? Who IS this guy or gal? And how did he or she land any type of administrator job?The players and coaches put hours and hours of hard-core effort and determination in to represent the school and earn those trophies. That is the most heartless thing I have ever of in all of my time. More details please.....
  2. Riverdale will go over Coffee by 1 run.
  3. Melissa, I have gone through a very similar experience myself. I am out of highschool and college now, but when I was in junior high I lost my grandfather during basketball season. I was a freshman and in every game UP TO the point of losing my grandfather (7-9th grade) I got a lot of playing time. I missed 1 practice and 1 ballgame for the funeral plus I was extremely sick with a virus. The next game after this happened I suddenly was rejected any play time at all. This was very strange because I had always gotten a considerable amount of time out on the floor. Not only did I not get to play at ALL during the first-half (very much NOT like the coach) but the coach began putting in all the 7th graders and the players who had no experience over me. My uncle had also driven a long way to see me play in this game. I was VERY insulted. I felt as if this was a direct PUNISHMENT for missing a game because of the death of my grandfather. After the game, I confronted the coach asking him what the deal was. He told me it was because I missed a game due to the death of my grandfather. I told him that I didn't understand and would need further explanation. I had devoted so much time and effort to the team and felt this was undue punishment for something tragic that had happened in my life. He simply said he was afraid I would be "out of the loop" from missing 1 game. Now come on..... that's ridiculous. I never got to the bottom of it because he wouldn't discuss it any further with me. Now that I look back on it, I truly regret NOT standing up for myself more than just confronting him about it. I should have quit. I feel that I was treated unfairly merely because of the fact that my grandfather passed away. Kudos Melissa for standing up for yourself. I commend you!
  4. Nope, Lady Dunn is not a busy teacher. Lady Dunn is definitely a busy person, but no teacher.
  5. I think it is one of the assistants. Topgun, is PlateauMan a CCHS coach?
  6. Is Matt Snow going to coach softball and football? Topgun, I also heard the the coach would be from Centennial.
  7. Topgun, how dare you critique my grammar when you continually make spelling errors (or typos) in this thread and others! I may have to consult with theflash since he is so good at quoting from the bible. Theflash......... can you give us the verse about finding the speck in someone else's eye when you have a plank in your own? As for more clues, I once won a golden glove award in a softball tournament in my younger days. OldRaider, feel free to supply us with more info on yourself.
  8. Old Raider, give topgun and I some clues as to who you are. Now I am curious. Are you a girl? Topgun, I will not tell you my age but I will tell you that I am a 1998 graduate but is that from college or highschool? hmmmmm........... think hard
  9. OldRaider, I am curious as to who you are. I have a good idea though. Why would you suggest lady-dunn has a crush on topgun? You don't even know who I am! No one on here can place my identity. Topgun, if it's true that theflash is umpiring the state tourney, you should take those words back! Because I think I have figured out who theflash is............ and if I'm right then you sure don't need to say a word about the umpiring skills. I believe he has been in the softball business far longer than you. But I'm sure you are just messing around........ and don't truly mean those critical things about theflash. This whole region knows he is worthy of going to the state.
  10. Topgun, Yes, I know this trivia game must be eating at you. You are a dandy of a coach. Coffee County feels lucky to have you! If I tell you which team I played on in little league it may too easily reveal my identity. I was a pitcher in my younger days, and when I wasn't pitching I was short stop. I feel like I know you pretty well, topgun and I believe you played for the Pirates in your younger days - catcher if I'm not mistaken. Am I right about that? I just have a question for ya. In last night's game, why did you send the runner when the first baseman dropped the ball? I didn't see you snag any line drives, but overall.......... you did a stellar job. Hang in there.......... you'll figure out who I am someday.
  11. Nope ERA, my initials are not K.S. If I give you my initials it will surely reveal my true identity. Keep trying, topgun!!!
  12. Top Gun, Nope, my login name has no similarities with my real name. I didn't play highschool softball very long. However, I was a prominent player when little league fast pitch softball first began in Manchester. I played various positions, but primarily pitched. Keep thinking hard, top gun................. you can do it.
  13. OldRaider, I think I know you too. How about one clue to confirm YOUR identity??????
  14. Yes, I am a former softball player. Think hard, topgun............... think hard.
  15. Topgun, I cannot give you any clues at this time that would reveal my identity. As small as Coffee County is, I'm sure it won't take you long to figure out who I am.
