Good luck to the players at Fairview High! I doubt that Coach Hughes and Harris will run the same offensive system as Coach Whitefield/King. Region 12 AA foes beware! instead of preparing for Fairview's nasty veer/option style of attack of old, I would hit amazon.com and buy all of the copies of "Football's Game Winning Trick Plays" by Chuck Klausing that I could get my hands on. I hear the double reverse pass is virtually unstoppable!

With 20 seniors back I have a hard time seeing Sycamore finishing 6th. What is your reasoning for this ranking?

Scrimmages in august vs. Lipscomb and Montgomery Central. Come on now money, get in the loop. Sycamore will dominate with slick hands L-jon at the controls. All Grandma's beware.

I was staying away from the religion issue. That is a matter between you and god. Academics is included with the kids. Academics comes before football.

Coaching is a profession of many twists and turns. Loyalty is one of the most important aspects of coaching. To be successful you must be loyal not only to the kids but to your employer. With this said my 1st loyalty is to my family and if making a move will improve my families lives then this is the move I am going to make. Football players come and go and while you coach them you should do all you can to mold them into better men or women. My point is players will come and go but your family will always be there. You must put them 1st

White House High School class of 86. Played O-line and D-line. Participated in "The Drive" and was there when BDP was born. Played for some great coaches and with some great guys. A lot of heart and determination instead of pure talent. The 80's laid the foundation for the success that White House football enjoys today. A great program and tradition.

New to the board and was browsing past posts. I would have to put my .02 in for Steve Britton at Riverdale. I played for him when he coached the line at Whitehouse. Great coach/person, his influence is still present when I coach my young middle school linemen.
