I stood beside the dawg pound at the game...and as far as I could tell they were not saying anything vulgar. The way I see it is if you can't take the heat...get off the field.

I was so proud of the Highlanders last night. Aaron and Mark played great. So did Dane, Dakota, Toby, and Jonah.

You can be pressured when you are a teenager. Where it be with work...or school...or sports...or peers. I should know. At work...you have to please your boss and your co-workers or you will be hated. School....make good grades or flip burgers at mcdonalds. Sports....if you and your teamates don't get along, the year will be terrible....and if you are a great athlete..then everyone expects you to play wonderfully and win at everything. And with your friends...they expect you to be everything that they want you to be. So try to understand...teenagers have pressures too...they just differ from the pressures of adults.

I hope so...i really enjoy it....i've only played for two years...so i'm still kinda new to it...but i love it

I believe that they don't have a love for the game b/c they are expected to do much more now...everyone depends on them....and that is too much pressure...so they tell themselves that it is not worth it and believe it....sorry...want to be a psychologist....kinda showing through

From the times that i have been around you i have gotten the idea that you are a very quiet, shy, conservative person. And that is a good thing. Not meaning anything bad towards you, but if the highlanders end up doing bad this season (and i hope that they don't!), all of the highlander fans on coacht will look like fools.

If I've said it once, I've said it many times. We need to get along and support our Landers! Turboman, I can see where you are coming from...but please try and calm yourself. Maynardette, I can see where you are coming from also. It's important to support, but it is also important to represent and Landers and Roan Mountain. By fighting we are just hurting ourselves, and our guys. Do you think that the Lander football players want their fans squabbling with each other. I don't believe that they do. Let's just support them and not become biggoted rednecks and hicks! :justwrestle:
