I will back Pageman's opinion every time. He has proved himself to be good at keeping stats. If he mentions officiating, then it is really bad. I know there have been several games that he has seen where the officials should have stayed home, but he never commented on it. So, if he commented on it, it was BAD!! Keep up the good work for girls basketball!!

So, if the Banes girl has moved to Cheatam Co., then waverly should not be as good??????

thumb Really good scrimmage both girls and boys. Crowd wasn't great but considering the weather it was OK too. Hope this kind of thing happens every year!! This is a great way to start off a basketball season!!

Here's my definition of football for those folks out there who don't know about football. It's 11 players on 2 teams beating each other up, 4 times each until they get into the end zone. Should girls play. If they are the best player for the position, go for it. If they aren't they shouldn't be playing. After all, there are usually lots of male players sitting on the bench, just so they can say they are on the football team.

I heard David Sharp, Lewis Co. was going to walk on at APSU, but his name is not on the roster. Haven't heard anything else.

Anybody know a radio station that is broadcasting the Cheatham Co./Fairview game? Thanks!
