  1. Kenwood vs. Clarksville High Rematch from last year.. Tight games the past 3 years. I want to watch this game like a college game on Saturday, or a pro game on Sunday.... however, the records will be the same again. do these knights wear the shining armer. or do the Kats prowell to the number 2 spot. I think I can guess this one already. how about you? /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  2. Da Bears!!!!! mike ditka says DA BEARS!!! got to go with the man's word!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. golden, easy, not to harsh. take your blood pressure pills! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> just kidding. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" /> hey, be playing your jv in a few weeks. wanna stop by. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /bored.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bored:" border="0" alt="bored.gif" /> da bears!
  4. not sure, will know in a few weeks when they face hillsboro. Think this is the year region 6-4A runs the table as they did last year.
  5. shelbyville does not want another taste of kenwood, that is just my opinion. however, i don't see anyone beating mt. juliet. they will be competitive till round 3. then they have rematch with hillsboro. what a dandy that will be.
  6. where is the train now-a-days? is there no horn in the distance? coach beaver is a good man, but what is going on in the city of portland. this one goes to the wildcats! too diciplined, and too strong. sets up a great game vs. kenwood in the ensuing weeks. however, the Bears of mt. juliet are the guys to beat in my mind. Like the match ups the next few weeks. good luck guys. clarksville 35 - portland 13 cats are too good this year. golden, it is almost time to sit down and chat. only 5 weeks to go. have fun!
  7. Eagles have a tough night again. This region is brutial. However, the eagles need to focus on getting better each week. Think the eagles need to work on getting better each week at this point.
  8. four great teams that run this region and represent this region very well. Mt. Juliet Kenwood Beech Clarksville Sorry Golden, but you get hillsboro first round beech visits maplewood. Mt. Juliet and Kenwood is still pending.
  9. in the mortal words of brother mike ditka, "Da Bears!" in the immortal words of king author, "Knights sit together, Knights fight togeter, Knights win or die together!" hey, two great head coaches: Bauer from the wood, Perry from the bears den. hey, two great group of student athletes: Knights of the round table vs. Big feirce Golden Bears two great defenses: Kenwood is well diciplined and Mt. Juliet is well diciplined game plan in my mind: Kenwood must stop the run and carr, stop the big plays in the air. Mt. Juliet must stop the brother duo, amius and dd, and that great offense. Kenwood gets passing game going it will be a great night for the Knights. Mt. Juliet gets the running game established it will be a great night for the Bears. who ever wins the first half will win this game. these two quarters set momentum for the second half, and I just don't know who to cheer for. i will say, i respect these two men, and each coaching staff will have these boys up and ready for a chance to taste the region championship and a first week number 4 seed in the playoffs. good luck to both teams.
  10. who is this region64Afootballen? please tell us. if you would not mind? you stated you ran the d, and you motivated the group in the past. just who is this that is speaking?
  11. his picks have been golden to this point. got to love his beliefs about his team. great teams have great fans. good luck vikings.
  12. i feel there is a storm a brewing. 6 weeks would love to watch a game in our city. got to be kenwood or clarkville high or both. so you must beat my beloved vikings first. good luck and i hope it is injury free. see you in 6 weeks goldenbrother.
  13. o, i wish i was there. love this rival game. always fun to play in, coach in, and watch. could be another northeast vs. kenwood result. believe me, the vikings are going to be up for this one. good luck vikings. remember an old quote, FAMILY. you play together, you stay together, you enjoy the victory together. i am pulling for you gentlemen this week. good luck vikings, you are always in our hearts.
  14. any given friday, any given friday. Never under estimate your opponent. who knows, ac may be on in hadies cooling down the devil. One word eagles, BELIEVE!!!!! guess only the boys can tell you if they will win.
  15. Guys chill, and remember that the big game is weeks away. before then you must win the games in between. Golden, I really respect you, but don't fuel that defensive knights fire. They are well disciplined and work as a unit. Mac, keep doing a good job. Don't worry about anyone on here. I believe you can be the team to reach round two. Good luck. Keep all good and positive please. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  16. give northeast credit on a good defensive game plan. amazing that they played as well as they did against the knights. However, this is the best disciplined kenwood team I have seen in many years. good attitudes, and amius is a great athlete. Mac does a great job on the defense, and Bauer has the boys believing that they can win each week. They are ganna be tough to beat. I hope you guys get a week one playoff game at home so I can come watch. good luck knights.
  17. don't know much about indy, except they are big and fast. if we do not have an emotional let down, we will be fine. getting better week after week. only time will tell though.
  18. hey, they get it done in the playoffs don't they. the rebs in 5A would be sweet. then they can actually proclain themselves as the best in the state. i want to see the rebs face the riverdales, dickson co.s. franklins, mbas, brentwoods, brentwood academys, and symarnas. those are strong power house teams. what does 4A offer the rebs? hillsboros, clevlands, red banks, maplewoods, melroses. don't get me wrong, those are great teams, but they are not 5A teams. when does the reb nation step up and go to the big leagues? till then, the rebs hold the states best record, but are not the best team till they beat the privates or 5A schools. just my opinion, i am granted that.
  19. will vanbruggen play or sit out again? this looks as a run run game. think northwest will be ready and get up for this game. just don't think this is the year of the viking yet. clarksville gets this one, but enjoy it for the time being. believe northwest will get it going soon.
  20. Think game of the year may be last game for kenwood. The clarksville game is hugh, but there is still mt. juliet and rossview in the final games. Last year the Knights should have destroyed the Hawks, but the ending was much different than anyone suspected. Game of the year may be two games. Clarskville vs. Kenwood or Rossview vs. Kenwood. Too soon to predict the game of the year as of yet. Like the chances of the Knights going 9-1, only blemish is Mt. Juliet. However, if clarksville can get the ball in the air, we may see the Knights with a 8-2 record. Just believe these Knights are just too much of a close unit to lose anytime soon. With exception to Mt. Juliet. Sorry Golden, but late games need the airial attack.
  21. knights will be 6-0. please keep this thread clean. we do not want this thread to be closed. an opinion is just that, an opinion. if you disagree, then do so but keep it clean please. enjoy the good start, but don't ruin it by stooping to someone elses level. in saying so, maybe ne was better than the record shows. the eagles have played 5 teams with winning records, where kenwood has played 3 teams with losing records. the eagles may have been coached well this week in my opinion, and the rival may have set the tone. whatever you feel, eagles left it on the field and walked off exhaused. those boys gave their all, and in doing so i hope they can see they can compete with anyone. nice job knights, make it a home 1st round so the city of clarksville has something to do week one in the playoffs. i will say this is the best diciplined kenwood team i have seen in 10 years. they played hard, stuck together, and did not fold. this will carry over the next few weeks with wins in the win column. we in clarksville are proud of the knights. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. exactly, i love your train of thought. compete with the big boys. walk off the field with their respect. win or lose, gain the respect.
  23. Coaching, and some people do care. The wheels have not fallen off, but is taken time to get the bus moving. NE is going to be fine. No excuses, and No regrets. The eagles need to focus on being competitive. This is a focus the team needs to work on these next few weeks. As for Kenwood, they are the very well discipline and Amius is great. However, the knights are ahead in this series the past 3 years. So the question is, "Can the Eagles compete with a Knights team that has beaten up everyone they played." May be a long evening. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Or may be an opportunity of a lifetime. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Friday we will see! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> How do the Cats look against oakland Golden? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  24. Kenwood's offense is a strange one and very well executed. If the eagles don't get diciplined and prepared it will be a long nite. The boys have to execute the playes in the red zone. This is a Northeast team that may surprize you, but kenwood looks good. Amius is the best athlete in town, and he controls a tempo of a game. Don't think it will be a bad game if the eagles can execute. However, time will tell come friday night. How did Amius' recruiting trip to APSU go this week? Great win for the Govs, and that is what scholorships do to a program. Becker is a beast, and he once played for region 6-5A. Plus another pair of region 6-4A athletes Fletcher and Fredricks show this town has talent that can play at the college level. Plus little Tarrence Holt is a return specialist. Add a receiver as big as Amius, then it will be a pretty fit. Eagles vs. Kenwood will be a fun game to watch. Hopefully it will be a classic match of rivals!
  25. easy golden /bored.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bored:" border="0" alt="bored.gif" /> let them talk the smack /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> makes it a good game /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" /> we know who is winning /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> YES WE DO /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
