Coach Reed is the man. Cannot wait to come to your house in week 5 to see hightower in action against the viking defense. Kinda hoping my boy is back with the Tigers. He is a great coach. Vikings are 23 senior thick, and Marshall is also senior thick. A long drive, but a reunion of friends. only 10 months till kick off. Congrats on your new head coach. Too much talent to not win in that county. A good coach can place you all back at the top. So good luck, and have a great off season. Kermit, if you read this i will hollar at you this week.

strange to hear many parents moving children to counties and loading the roster. at times wish that was the truth in clarksville. we have rules that disable that movement. to be able to play in another school in clarksville you have to make a lagit move from one area to the next, and only three schools are eligable for a player to play. Having Northwest, Kenwood, Clarksville, and Rossview in Region 6-4AAAA. Only teams out of our region are Northeast, Montgomery Central, and Clarksville Academy. Forgot there is Fort Campbell up the street. We just need to get students to play. Our halls are consumed with athletes that would rather work at McDonalds than play sports. Is this problem at every school or just our county. Plus no middle school football to hold grades to the student athlete. Many of our future athletes fail in Middle school, but no child left behind let them move on to high school. For what, to find jobs and lose interest in the sports that are so important to their lives. A crazy world we live in my friends.

tunica rocks, good clinic for two reasons: to learn football and to learn how to except defeat. left town with 400 and came back with 450. not too shabby, but learned should walk with 3000 on the table. Lessons learned. Great clinic is the clinic of champions in bowling green. mostly high school coaches sharing their resumes of success from tennessee and kentucky. if anyone knows when it is going to be heald this year please post it for me. you would have a blast.

Hillsboro wins in 4th quarter, rallies by air attack to beat the rebs. have not seen the rebs, but the boros are on fire. Big, Diciplined, and ATHLETIC. Time to dethroan the kings. To be the men, hillsboro has to beat the men of Marryville. Hillsboro 35 Marryville 24

Mac, I thought you would at least interview. I thougt about it, but there is still much to learn from a good head coach. I myself am trying to complete my masters so I also can adventure outside the city to east or west tennessee. Getting some experience and I have alot of coaching buddies around knox county, henry co., and working on memphis at the moment. Learned something in an interview at Mumford two years ago, always be positive and a politician. Meaning, be a good spokesman for the program I represent. What positions are open? The job add will read, and i am sure, No position open at the moment. That is hard when trying to bring in a good head coach. I also want a hard working head coach, a man that forks out the time I do for this game I love. Not a August to November kind of guy, but a Year Round Coach. Someone that runs the program, and leads us to the playoffs.

looks to be a region that has a change in guard. Clarkville and Springfield will be down, so will Kenwood. Northwest, Mt. Juliet, Rossview, Portland, and Beech look to turn things around. However, who will compete with all the hillsboro has coming back next season?

two great coaching staffs, two different teams. hillsboro street sabby vs. henry co. good ole boy attitude. This game comes down to dicipline, and stopping two main players. hillsboro's #5 vs. henry co's #1. there are more players to worry about, but these two players are the best i have seen all year. Then there is two other impact players that are dangerous. hillsboro's QB vs. henry co's big RB. For the question about Hillsboro's defense, well my friend, they are the best defense I have seen in two years. One word to describle this defense, PLAYMAKERS. They are amazing guys. Key players are D-Nose #4 is the stud that destroys plays, #9 is a LB that moves better than any other lateral LB in the state, and those DB's are amazing quick, fast, mean, and love to hit. If you can find a weakness, then you are the best offensive coordinator in the state. The are all head hunters too. Don't get me wrong, coach gaddis is legendary in status, but Blade wants to become a legend stopper. Would like to see henry pull this off, but got to say Hillsboro by 21+. Too much speed, power, and hunger. I like henry, but this team is the best on this side of the state. Unless, the other the patriots takes them to the water and drowns them. The team that makes the most mistakes will be at home next week.

I do believe the administration will make a positive decesion, and bring in a good head coach. My hopes and prayers fall with a gentleman that deserves this job, and will bring honor and discipline to the program. If this gentleman gets the chance he deserves, he will do a grand job. And no, it is not me, but a man that I dearly respect. A father figure not only to me, but 16 years of athletes. I hope the lord grants him this chance.

Don't count out coach gaddis and the patriots. A great Quarterback, and a bruiser at tailback, and a good line. It will be a good game, thanksgiving and UT vs. UK on saturday, so this is one I will miss. Not missing the championship saturday in the boro. Hilsboro is special and going to be hard to beat, but I wish them the best and will follow them for the next week or more.

The new head coach needs to be a teacher and in the building. Very limited teaching positions open, and I hope the new head coach brings our coaches back. We are not as bad as everyone thinks, and some of us are family to the athletes. UTVols, I was in the end zone where the boys ran by streaking. I am going to the saturday games, so maybe we can hook up and watch some good football. My girl friend is ready for it all to be over, but I love this time of year. I want it to last forever.

I think coach gaddis will have his boys ready, but this hillsboro team is something special. I fell it will come down to who shows up to play. Easier said than done!!! Hilsboro has a great run and pass game, and the defense is the best I have seen all year. However, gaddis has been here before, and with upsets against melrose opens the door. This will be a battle of tradition!!!!!!!!!!

UTVolsfan, they ran right past me in the endzone. They did the same thing against us at our game, but were fully clothed. Funny thing is everyone knows who those boys are and they don't get in trouble. Funny, but what about the young children at the game? Not good to do something like that while you are getting beat. look for me I will be standing tall and proud. Just discovered our new schedule next season and excited. Week 0 Henry Co., Week 3 GlenCliff, and Week 5 Marshall Co. Three good teams, and three new experiences.

as for now i am northwest, but have many friends in coaching. Plus i am in grad school at the moment, so i am bidding my time. from perry, to offit, to gaddis in henry co., to thompson at maplewood, to mcadams at david lipscomb i have some contacts to help me. However, i do love the green and gold. I just hope and pray I am coaching starting in January at Northwest. With 10 returning starters on defense returning, and 26 seniors, and a good new head coach, we have something to work with. For now I am a spectator tonight.

Who are prospects for new head coach? Will he clean house, or will he keep some or all the coaches? Is it a in house coach, in town coach, our out of city coach?

going to wear green and gold, the real green and gold, eat some good food, and live it up with the fans. Know alot of the fans at clarksville high, and many good buddies coaching there. Come visit, eat some good food, and lets talk football, life, and where the region is going.
