Gordonsville was a good game but the kids just folded once we stopped them inside our 20 and broke off another long TD run.

Well while I'm sure you love your team but unless the 85 Bears show up, you won't hold us to 14. Again, you have to understand, we heard all this last year from the Jo Byrns crownd too...we all know how that ended up. Every year is different but understand, NO TEAM in 1A has played a schedule that can match ours this year. We are battle tested and heck bent on protecting what is ours, the title of STATE CHAMPION.

Should be a great game. Sound very similar in our team mindset. #15 is on the field but not at 100%. He was doing all he could out there against Gordonsville. Healthy, he's a beast all around.

Looking forward to it. As for your game plan, if throwing the ball is something you do well...it doesn't point to controlling the clock. Jumping out in front of us with lead and force us to get out of what we want to do would be your best option. Jake can sling the rock and we have some good WR's (#15 is still hurt, he is one of our best players) but we prefer to run and set up the pass.

Our kids are beat up with the slate of games we've had...we haven't been at full strength since around the 4th game of the season. I don't give a darn about what some jacka** thinks about us playing Alcoa or not playing them. NJHS says the same s*&t all the time. Could we beat some 3A schools or schools in other divisions...sure we could, and some could beat us on depth alone but facts are this, we don't have too. We play in 1A, we have a very small school that loads up and goes all over the place kicking peoples a** and sometimes, we take a beating but in the END, we want CHAMPIONSHIPS. That is what Beene wanted, that is what Coach Grider wanted, that Danny wanted, and that is what Vic wants. Come Friday around 4 CST if where holding that GOLD BALL in the air, there will be no * on it stating we didn't play 3A Alcoa.
