Next year should be very interesting for sure!! I'd guess we will see some great coaching from the 'git-go' that won't end til Feb!! Lots of empty singlets will be filled by some great underclassmen that have surfaced this year.......Can't wait!

You are right about Clarksville doing a good job. I have no problem with Clarksville or it folks that run the tournament. They are very friendly and great hosts! I just wondered why the Duals are always held there instead of another college campus like UTC? This is in no way a slam against Clarksville. I have spent several great weekends there at the duals...Thanks Clarksville!

Can anyone explain why the Duals are being held in Clarksville every year? True Clarksville is doing a pretty smooth job of hosting, but why do none of the other schools get a shot at making the money from hosting such a large crowd? And yep, the Traditionals are held at UTC in Chattanooga every year. There fore why does Middle Tennessee not get a shot at hosting the Duals?

Blofish, how can you assume that no more than 8 of 130 D1 teams deserve or are not strong enough to compete in the State Duals Tourney? That is just dumb! And to make it even worse you are standing your ground when it comes to the magic number of 8 DII teams competing. I really think the sport is for the athelets and not the "fishermen" in the state, the TSSAA should take steps to give more wrestlers an opportunity to compete. There can not be anything wrong with that, right? 50% (or so) of the DII teams go to the state.....I think you did have one great idea whhen you said a 64 team field may bring this thread to a halt!! I also agree the If D1 is limited to 8 teams that DII should be droped to 2 teams...if TSSAA is going to be unfair to D1, lets show DII :justwrestle: the same treatment by percentage!! Of course, bringing D1 up by percentage makes much more sense, lets give more wrestlers a chance to wrestle!! Bayoubear, never mind, the Blowfish will never come off of the DII rush.

Bradley has some very impressive freshmen coming up! Creagan, Spain, and Johnson right out of the starting lineup. There are others waiting in the wings to step up and take the challenge next year. Looks like we will be able to reload again next year! Keep working hard guys!!!

Congrats to the Bears on another blowout! I think it was great for Coach Smith to call off the dawgs and put in some of the other guys to get game experience for the upcoming post season. They could easily hit the 3 digit mark on the pony's court last night, but I'm glad they didn't do it. Good luck to WV in the AA class post season.

Bradley by 25 ...If WV hits 14 3's again. Could be more if WV does not get the 14 3's like they did @ Bradley.

K. Pickel and J. Hare can fill it full from 3 point land... Most everyone that have faced them this year can testify to that.

cobrakid8 I think everyone in the stands would agree that to say this ref was terrible would be the understatement of the year. I hope somebody from either school or both schools get to let Ronnie Carter see the video of the match. And if Carter does not agree that the ref was terrible, he too should be replaced. BUT I have a lot of faith in Carter and I know he would have to agree (eventhough he would never admit it in public). Maybe the coach from both teams should file a complaint. If I never see this guy again it will be too soon. Congrats to both teams on a great match and thanks to the Soddy folks for making the event a great and friendly atmosphere. I hope both teams can get to the finals at the state duals....see you there!

Dale Woodard @ Bradley Central does a great job running the entire Athletic program. Bradley is usually ranked in a lot of sports very often. This makes the AD job at Bradley Central a "High Profile" position with many critics looking on to see what they can complain about. (Just like it is an many other schools I am sure!) Woodard has a big job and handles it well.

Justin Spain should be ranked @ 152. His over all record is quite impressive as a Freshman!!
