i don't know why everyone says that harpeth threw their ace last nite. i'm pretty sure the coach is throwing the guy that is hot.

what all athletic programs in ch. co. need is a school board, a director of schools that backs her coaches or has a backbone, and finally parents let coaches coach and accept that your darlings arn't always telling the whole story.

i was reading another topic about the xcoach at beech might want the job. does anyone know if any of the asst. want the job or the are leaving.

this is not a issue about the board, it is a issue that some players were upset at a coach and a parent talked a bunch of young people into following him because he said he could do something about it. All that happened alot of players are not playing on their homecoming because they were influenced by an adult that thinks he has more power than he really does.

First of all, Harpeth does not have any injured arms. I don't know where you got that. Next, Central doesn't have any more pitching depth than anyone else in the district, but they are the team to beat since they have won the last four districts. Harpeth didn't lose anyone so they have an advantage with experience. The same goes for Cheatham, they didn't lose but only one person I think. Sycamore lost just about everybody, and Waverly lost a few players as well. Creek Wood is too young to compete, but in a year or two they will be competitors, and who knows anything about Stewart County. I agree the top three is between Montgomery Central, Harpeth, and Cheatham.
