  1. FCS without a doubt. Three headed mosntor with Rickawy, Alsup and Markam. 9 - 0 baby. Ranked #1 in the state. Go Commanders.
  2. FCS does not recruit or pay schlorships. You are an idiot. The FCS softball starters have been at FCS since 3rd and 4th grade. Get over yourself. Geeeeeeeeeeez I get so tired of this ignorant recruitng crap I hear all the time. It is absurd. Just midless babble from parents of players that have a very uneducated opinion. If you are going to have a position, at least have your facts straight. Good Grief.
  3. I do want to put somehitng to rest in regards t FCS. I have seen a number of times from uninformed peopel that FCS is talented in their softball prgram due to recruitment. Lest put this to rest. Catcher - Christina Harold - Junior - - tranfer from Ezell as a freshman. Sat out her freshman year. 1st base & pitcher - Courtney Carr. Senior - Been at FCS since elementary school 1st base and catcher - Camiile Cross. Freshman - Been at FCS since elementary school. 2nd base - Kelcey Lee- Junior - transfer from WCHS as a sophomore and sat out her sophomore year. SS - Lindsay Farmer - Sophmore - Came to FCS as a freshamn from Walter J Baird. 3rd base and catcher - Jessie Couch - Junior - Been at FCS since elementary school Right Field - Rachel Tyler - Junior - Been at FCS since elemenatry school Center Field & Pitcher - Kenzie Dye - Sophmore - Been at FCS since elemenatry school LF - Jodi Leftwich - Junior - Been at FCS since elementary school Pitcher and OF Carrie Fry- Junior - been at FCS since elementary school. Pitcher and LF Hailey Rutledge - Sophmore - Been at FCS since elementary school The above are your main starters. There are others on the team that are subs that will play a big role in FCS softball down the road. The team only has two seniors on the team this year. So now that we have laid that recruitment notion to rest. FCS is good due to the fact that they are well coached and they are comprised mainly of travel ball paleyrs who play "A" ball on some of the top travel teams in middle TN. Wilson County is deep in talent. FCS, MJHS, WCHS Lebanon etc. So lets stop throwing mud at a talented team by saying they recruit just becase they are good. Bottom line, they are good. Period. Give the girls and the team and the school some credit and lets do away with the slander and the slaps. Congrats to FCS on their victory tonight at Monterey. My hat is off to Monterey as they fought hard and played till the end and they hit the ball well against us. Better than most teams have. Good luck to them on Friday vs Sale Creek and to FCS vs Whitwell.
  4. FCS defeated Monterey 14 - 3.
  5. I predict a GP victory. Schmidt is too tough on the mound and lately at the plate as well. Should be a good game though. I would rank Schmidt as one of the top pitchers in the state as well as her Diamonds team mate that plays for FCS Hailey Rutledge. I kind of wished GP would have stayed single A this year or FCS moved up to AA to see those two duel it out. Anyway that has nothing to do with this game it just popped in my head. I do predeict a GP victory today as long as Schmidt is on the mound.
  6. If you had to pick now who would be in the Single A state who would it be and how would you rank them? Any thoughts.
  7. FCS has to travel to Monterey for the game. Their turn to host it. If FCS wins then I think the sub state is back at FCS. FCS beat Hermitage Springs today 15 - 0 in 4 innings. I thik that Carrie Fry for FCS had a perfect game. If not, she at least had a no hitter.
  8. I predict a FCS victory.
  9. Middle TN I would say the two to watch are: Hailey Rutledge with Friendship Christian Single A and Devon Schmidt from Good Pasture - Double A. Both teams are undefeated in their respective districts. Both are sophmores. Both play with 16U Tennessee Diamonds.
  10. FCS SHOULD WIN IT ALL THIS YEAR. DEEP PITCHING ROTATION. GOOD STICKS. ALL TRAVEL BALL PLAYERS. SEVERAL FROM THE TN DIAMONDS. THEY WILL BE TOUGH. ESPECIALLY WITH GP MOVING UP.
  11. Friendship Christian should win it all in Calss A for the enxt two years. Deep in pithcing and hitting. Eveyr player on the starting nine plays travel "A" ball somewhere.
  12. How do we all feel about Lookout Valleys chances vs FCS today. Also, Assuming FCS wins, what do we think about their chances next week in Memphis? FCS is undeafeted so far in District and Regional Play as they face Lookout Valley at 4:00 in the sectional.
  13. Kenzie Dye and Hailey Rutledge. You will see thme in that top ten list pretty soon once thier names get out there and more people see them.
  14. Friendship has two very good freshman pithcers this year. Kenzie Dye and Hailey Rutledge. They both play for the 16U Diamonds. They eached pitched three games a piece for a total of six games to win the Sonic Tourney at Fly Park earlier this year. Carrie Fry and Courtney Carr where not prent at the tournmanet so they had to carry the load. Did a great job. FCS has a bright future with the two of thme coming up as well as FCS overall team. thumb
