Jackson County does more recruting than any school in the state. They got 2 girls from York a few years ago that cost York a state championship, and by the way JC didn't win one either. Coach Rogers is one of the best coaches in the country, so why wouldn't kids want to play for him.

Didn"t say they were going to win a game, but the sure have improved. No, I am not related to any of the coaches, in fact I could not tell you wo they are. Just a a thought and a fan who supports the school and the kids.

I have been watching Livingston Academy play for many years, and the present team may have improved more over the past two aor three games of any team I have seen. They may not win a game, but the kids sure have got much better. The coaches must be doing sonething right. I hope they continue to improve.

Great job. We are so proud of you. You can hold your head up high in JC. because you are all true JC born and raised. Just seems it will mean more.

Kind of interesting what others have seen with LA this year. I go to all the games and what I see is a pretty good ball team. The 5 coach Melton started the second half against Pickett County are by far the best 5 right now. What I don't understand is why he dosen't play them together more so they will be ready when we really need them. We play so many boys, and combinations it is impossible to get any consistency or know what to do. When it comes down to it LA won't win the big games because the winning combination have not been on the floor enough to be conforable and understand what your other team mates are doing. The 5 I am talking about are. Dunn, great scorer sees the floor and can play team ball when needed. T Smith, good player who has been on the floor a lot. Needs to work on taking care of the ball, stills turns the ball over to much for a senior, great kid. West, best athlete on the team. Holds the team together all the time, scores when needed, best defensive player on the team, give 100% all the time, we can't win if he is not on the floor. He is the leader we all want going into battle. T.J. Smith, best pure shooter to come through LA in a long time, needs to work on defence, but is improving, great leaper with natural ability, will get better if left in game with the other 4 in this group, really like this kid and his great attitude. Wilson, junk player gets everything that on one else wants. Always in the right place for a loose ball, hard nosed and give 100% all the time. Will score when the team needs it the most. Play these guys and blend in the reserves when needed and see how far we will go. Teach defense and slow down the offence. Win games 60-40 instead of 85-83, and see how great hog-eye can be. Those 85-83 games can go either way, but good defense and a slower offence , you win them all. Do these things, and I will buy tickets to the Boro.

IF THE COACH AT JACKSON COUNTY CONTINUES TO DO AS HE HAS IN THE PAST THE GOOD GIRL FROM MONTREY WILL BE PLAYING FOR HIM NEXT YEAR. HE GOES AFTER ALL THE GOOD PLAYERS , AND DOES A GREAT JOB GETTING THEM. IF THE TWO GIRLS THAT HE GOT FROM YORK A COUPLE YEARS AFO HAD STAYED, YORK WOULD HAVE BEEN STATE CHAMPS. KIND OF SAD WHEN THIS KIND OF THING IS LET CONTINUE.

Livingston Academy just hired Mattten Houser as ans assistant football caoch. Great hire. He is a fine young man.

SO FAR BRANDON MCCOIN AT LIVINGSTON ACADEMY. HE WAS SUPER IN HIS FIRST GAME.

They have some really good players returning, but hte region they play in is the best in the state. Thery may have a good team but the wins and losses may not show it. Good luck anyway.

LIVINGSTON ACADEMY MADE A SUPER HIRE WHEN DANNY MCCOIN WAS HIRED AS THE FOOBALL COACH. COACH MCCOIN HAS ONE OF THE BEST FOOTBALL MINDS IN ALL OF TENNESEE. GOOD LUCK TO THE WILDCATS THIS SEASON.

LA SHOULD HAVE A GOOD TEAM NEXT YEAR. THEY NEED TO PLAY AS A TEAM, OR I THINK UPPERMAN WILL SHOW THEM THE DOOR. LA IS LOADED WITH TALENT, BUT HAVE NOT PUT IT TOGETHER AS A "TEAM". THERE IS ON "I" IN TEAM.

I TO AM PROUD OF COACH WINNINGHAM AND ALL HIS TEAM. IF SUDENTS HAD NOT MOVED TO ANTOHER COUNTY, YORK WOULD HAVE BEEN STATE CHAMPS. IT IS SAD WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IT COST THE KIDS FROM YORK, AND THE OTHER KIDS DID NOT GET A GOLD TROPHY EITHER. KIND OF FUNNY HOW THINGS TURN OUT. GOOD LUCK TO BRANDY BROWN, SHE IS GOING TO ONE OF THE BEST WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PROGRAMS IN THE COUNTRY.
