I understand that Coach Bowlin has accepted a job back in Arkansas. I for one will miss him and his personality. Wished you would have stayed around here Coach but best of luck to you. I think you do a great job.

Not at all is it a done deal. I just know they want it done this week to announce next week. Just surprising to me that some would leave their current job to take this one.

Any news? Rumor has it that the 3 candidates at Gibson County are Halford, Shane Sisco, and Harry Ferguson. Hard to go wrong with any of those. What about Brighton, West Carroll or Kenwood? Somebody knows something. Spanarkle are you moving over to Atwood?

They are a solid, well - coached team that played their best basketball at the time you are supposed to. They almost beat Milan, a good AA team, so I don't understand why you would be surprised.

Brighton? Gibson County? West Carroll?

A very good young coach who has paid his dues, which is important. Good luck Willie, I know you will do a great job. (Just rest on the offensive end so you can play defense.)

If Coffee County could hire him they would be the lucky ones.

I heard that Coach Halford at Rutherford will move up to the high school to replace Coach Bowlin. Is that a done deal? If so he seems to be a good young coach.

Congrats to all the nominees. They are all winners. However your tone made it sound as if you thought Merideth was not the best player. Have you seen her play? Just because her team did not advance as far as Moore Co. means nothing for this award. It recognizes the best players not teams. I have seen all three of the A finalists and there is no doubt in my mind the best PLAYER won.

Good luck Coach Bowlin. You are a very good basketball coach and a friend. I hope you stay in the area.
