    KWalker4 Hey

He was there, he just wasn't on the field. I was there, too! Dad went back to the doctor Tuesday & they didn't like the looks of his leg so the doctor sent him home & told him he couldn't work the rest of the week & he could only go to football if he would sit down with his leg propped up. So he sat right in front of the press box with a walkie talkie again. I don't know what they'll do with him next week if he's not better because I do NOT see them keeping him off the field. He missed this game last year ( the ONLY game he's missed in 40 years) so I feel certain he will try to get as well as possible. . . . . sorry I missed you at the scrimmage. I guess I'll see you next week if I can find you in all the madness. GO FALCONS!
  2. Powell looked good. I thought Fulton looked decent, but they still got some work to do before next week. But there's no doubt in my mind we'll be ready. Good sportsmaship . . . .good luck to Powell this year. GO FALCONS!
  3. They wouldn't be recruiting, would they Roadrunner?
  4. I think Smith County will come out with the W, but good luck to both teams.
  5. I just heard the scrimmage has been moved back to Fulton.
  6. My understandin was that he has a bad ankle. He should be back before long, but I don't seem him playing in the scrimmage. I don't think they would risk hurting him worse when we have AE the next week. Speaking of . . . how physical do you think this scrimmage will be? I wouldn't think it would be too much considering the season starts next week for fear of injuring players.
  7. Yeah, but that was just a warm-up game for the REAL contest - the playoffs & we ALL KNOW who won that!
  8. Coming from a Falcon fan, I have to say I was impressed with you the qtr. I saw you play at the jambo. It would be fun to watch you play a whole game. If you weren't playing all the way in KY, I would consider going to your game this week.
  9. Roadrunner - can I tell everybody what you wore to the jambo Friday? . . . . . . . .you KNEW I had to say something!

    KWalker4 Hey

TAD - Dad is doing much better. He is still having a lot of pain in his ankle & you can tell there is still some infection in his leg, but the swelling has gone down quite a bit and I think he is feeling better. He was in good spirits tonight. Your Dad, I believe, called tonight to check on him. He talked to my Mom. Hopefully he won't have any more bumps in his road to recovery!
  11. Pigskin - I must say it pleased me to read your post. I, if you can believe it, agree with your post 100%. WOW - I can't believe I just said that!
  12. Prayers for you during this difficult time from the Fulton Falcons!
  13. That's exactly what I said earlier. This has been brought up on here too many time to remember & gets absolutley NOWHERE!

    KWalker4 Hey

No, I didn't, but one of his linemen almost intercepted the ball one play. He didn't really mean to - it bounced off his belly, but he dropped it. It was funny!
  15. Sorry I had that wrong. Didn't mean any disrespect. I just wasn't sure who it was.
  16. The comment I made about him getting knocked down was not at the scrimmage. I know he didn't get knocked down at the scrimmage. I was talking about at the jambo.
  17. Why you're crazy - I'm sure players run their mouths to other players, but they didn't cuss no coaches out & if & that's a very BIG if they did - you should've told one of the Fulton coaches b/c they don't put up with that stuff. As a matter of fact, why don't you call them Monday & let them know about it. As far as the getting knocked down - yes, he did. C'mon you had to have heard the crowd in the stadium last night when it happened. And even if you missed the play - they showed it again on the jumbo screen. It was just one play of the game & like I said before, your bulldogs surprised me - I didn't think they would be that good.
  18. I'm not sure who won the throw - I think a guy from Karns, maybe. JaMichael (sp?) Mathis from Fulton won the linemen 40 yd dash & #33 from AE won the other 40 yd dash.
  19. You took the words right out of my mouth, Roadrunner . . . .literally
  20. First of all, I'm NOT a buddy. And I do NOT believe you. I do not see Coach Helton dialing Fulton's number. What's the big deal about your almighty whoppin 4A bobcats beatin a lowly little 3A team. Fulton plays plenty of good teams. Just because we don't play a bunch of 4A & 5A teams does not mean they're not good. Hey, your bobcats looked good at the jambo tonight, though. I was impressed with the backup quarterback, too.
  21. I'm not saying there weren't cheap shots thrown - on both sides. And I realize that's just part of football to a certain extent. But I heard #15 ran his mouth a lot along with it. I just thought it must have been that chip on your shoulder you said the team was playing with this year. But hey, like I said - I give you credit. I think you're going to surprise a lot of people this year & send them home with their tails between their legs. Good luck. GO FALCONS!
