  1. OK - your last post confused me.... But for the last time, Fulton is NOT scared to play Central. Coach Helton don't want to play Fulton. He has hated them ever since he got in trouble with TSSAA. Why do you all KEEP trying to bring this up? This subject has been brought up on here soooooo many times & it goes NOWHERE! So what if Central was to win or Fulton was to win. It's just one game out of the season that would mean NOTHING. but hey, good luck to your bobcats in KY next week. GO FALCONS!

    KWalker4 Hey

Dad got out of the hospital tonight right before Fulton played in the jambo. He, of course, didn't get to come, but he called me on his way home & I had to stay on the phone w/ him to give him a play-by-play.
  3. I know he left the field on crutches w/ a bag of ice on his right knee - doesn't look too good. I hope it's not too serious & he can return soon. Now, on to the Fulton/Bearden game. I'm not going to get on here & bash Bearden. They were better than I thought they were. And although Fulton won (OF COURSE) they've got some things to work out in the next two weeks. But I heard the Fulton/Bearden scrimmage last night went pretty good except #15 for Bearden kept playin dirty & running his mouth a lot. Well, all I got to say is . . . . . . booyah - you got knocked the heck down! That's all I'm gonna say about it. Good luck to Bearden this year and of course . . . . . . . . GO FALCONS!
  4. I disagree w/ you Roadrunner. Most of the kids from Fulton & AE that have gone on to college b/c of sports have not been b/c of Project Grad alone. The coaches are not only supposed to guide these kids on the field, but they have a hightened responsibility first & foremost to make them into credible citizens & provide them with guidance to do so, i.e. making sure they are enrolled in the right courses for college, making sure they keep their grades up, etc. etc. If they can't keep their grades up, they're not supposed to be playing at the highschool level, either.

    KWalker4 Hey

Thank you. I told him last night that one of his umpire buddies has been checking on him.

    KWalker4 Hey

Tad - you probably already know if you went to the scrimmage yesterday, but they put Dad back in the hospital. I really think he was taken off the IV antibiotics too soon. He has been hurting so bad & he told me he almost took himself to the hospital in the middle of the night it got so bad. His spirits were better than I thought they would be when I saw him last night. He's HATING that he's missing the jambo tonight. Hopefully he will only be there for the weekend. You'll have to go by & see him if you get a chance. He's in room Tower 205.
  7. The REAL maroon, baby - FULTON, of course! GO FALCONS!
  8. You could always color that gray hair scarlet & columbia blue I'll find you at the jambo. I'm planning on gettin there early. Look for me - I'll be the one in maroon
  9. I KNOW that . . .are you talking about Central Bobcat or CentralBobcat - as I know these are two different people. I thought you might have been talking about your co-worker, LA. I haven't seen him post on here in a while. The last time I saw him was at the beginning of summer at the berry.
  10. You're around kids ALL YEAR! Don't act like you're not excited. That just means it's closer to football time!
  11. Are you talking about LA? Where's he been? I haven't seen him on here.
  12. Hey imallin - it's kwalker! Good luck to your Owls this year!
  13. Oh, you'll see the sign - you better believe that! You'll hear me, too. And don't try the earplug thing 'cause I'm louder than that. I can't believe you might not go to the jambo. You're not a REAL FAN!
  14. I have heard lots about both places & witnessed it first-hand. Fortunately, Fulton was able to come out with wins at both places, but both places have GREAT football atmosphere!
  15. How many times do I have to tell you - they do their talkin on the field! I, on the other hand - like to ruuun my mouth! P.S. I wonder what the sign will say that I make for you this year?! GO FALCONS!
  16. You better come say hello! I'm not sure where I'll be, but I'm sure you'll hear me! Seriously though, have your phone with you & I'll call you or text you!
  17. Keep dreamin Roadrunner GO FALCONS!
  18. WHAT?! AERoadrunner is at a loss for words. . . . .

    KWalker4 Hey

Dad was really excited to be back at practice! Even though he was tired he sounded like a different person when I talked to him last night! You linemen better watch out! GO FALCONS!
  20. Hey, prayers going out to your coach! I know it helps having people pulling for you. That was a real classy segment on the news the other day. I like the bracelets you guys are wearing in his honor. Can other people get those?
  21. You're exactly right - Fulton was the ONLY team that played without a break. Not only that, Fulton played two scrimmages the day before & practiced @ 11:00 p.m. the night before so the team was absolutely worn out. Non-the-less, they've got plenty to work on in a short amount of time, but there's no doubt in mind they'll be fun to watch again this year! I can't wait! congrats to Farragut - I heard you looked real good. GO FALCONS!
  22. Why do I gotta give Coach C some love - what has he done for me?

    KWalker4 Hey

The dr. visit was pretty good. He is doing better, but he is still in a lot of pain & very weak. He has also lost a lot of weight (if you can believe that)! He went to Fulton's scrimmages Thursday & Friday, but it really let him know he's not ready to be up & doing things just yet. He was really wiped out this weekend. His linemen better be ready for when he returns - he's got a lot of frustration built up right now! Seriously though, he did get the iv removed & he is not on any medication right now, which he thinks he maybe should be because his leg is still really swollen & he still can't walk. I think he's going to call the dr back today to check on that. I'll keep you updated! Thanks again, and . . . . . GO FALCONS!
  24. Nope - sorry. I wouldn't hate to see that happen, but I don't think it will. Hope u can prove us all wrong - I'll be the first to congratulate you. (And no, I'm not hatin on your beloved Rebels, AERoadrunner. I would just like to see Gibbs start on a positive note for once.)
