  1. You are referring to Franklin Road Academy. The article was about FRA and JPII. JPII won 3 - 2 in a preseason scrimmage. FRA tied JPII in a regular season game last Thursday, 1-1. Great game. Both teams are very talented. Two of the best teams in the state in my opinion.
  2. If you are not interested in soccer, why don't you stick to the sports that interest you and stay off this forum.
  3. It's my understanding that players can't participate in any way with their club team during high school season if they play for their school, which includes practices. Some club coaches, probably most, would practice if allowed to. My guess is that the rule helps prevent overuse injuries and allows the player to consentrate on their school season without pressure from their club coach.
  4. They won't. TSSAA rules will not allow a player to participate in both during the same season. Most Club teams will reassemble as soon as high school season ends in late Oct., (at least for those that get to state) and begin practice, play in-door or go to a tournament.
  5. Are Soccer boards closed already??? All other boards appear to be open. There is still interesting dialog on the soccer boards? Why is the soccer board closed and girl's basketball open but soccer boards appear to be closed???
  6. Yes you were right Alex Mullins (FRA) is going to Bellarmine a DII school (I'm pretty sure) in KY

how cool is that? go FRA! Ya'll better own in state!
  8. Haha I'd love to tell you, but I'm on the girls team. I follow the guys, cuz well, they are my friends. But I watched the game, I wasn't at the ND game cuz I had a travel tournament while the CCS tournament was going on. So, yea I'm on the FRA girls team.
  9. No one said BA played bad... they played really well... they won. Everyone knows that. We are just saying that FRA had the potential to play alot better than they did. And goodness, it doesn't even matter because FRA and BA aren't even in the same district. I mean BA played with heart and outplayed FRA during that game. No ones being a sore loser, it's just always frustrating to know that your team could have won had they played up to their potential. You can't disagree with me there. But yes, good job BA.
  10. Ok yea you won.. good job. Now you can say you beat FRA, just know that when you are saying it, you didn't get their best game. Personally, when I play a soccer team I would much rather win when I play a team at their best. But whatever. It shouldn't really matter all that much anyway. Everyone agrees that the officals were pretty bad, but hey it happens. It's over. Just be glad that you won't run into FRA any other time this year because it would be a completely different game. Yea you saw Davenport and Mullins and McDonald and everyone else, but to be completely honest, it wasn't a good showing of their talent. If you wanna see what they are all about you can come to any other game. Then you'll get a good taste of what FRA soccer is all about. But congrats on the win, it's over so ... yea.

you may not be disputing that they are a good team, but you sure are being hostile toward FRA

BGA and Brentwood weren't post season.. they was PRE-season. And JumpAround... why are you so adament on trying to believe and make others believe that FRA isn't good? Plus Notre Dame wasn't their best game. There were some mistakes made and I'm sure on any given day.. given they play them again sometime, I'm sure FRA would beat them. Hey, you can't expect never to run into any bad luck. It's part of the game. In soccer sometimes the best team doesn't always win. But as far as scheduling goes... how do they have an easy schedule? They've played and beat everyone in their district. As far as that goes, you can't pick your district because if you could I know Coach McDonald would gladly put FRA in a harder district.

They have played mba and bga and brentwood though bga and brentwood were in pre-season. i dont think they played franklin but i think he was just naming what good competition is around here not necessarily that they had played them all. MBA was a 2-0 game... i think? BGA was a 0-1 loss but it got rained out after like 15-20 minutes. Brentwood was held to a 0-0 tie. So there ya go.
  14. Whoa.. wait... were you at the right game? CPA's keeper had some crap saves only because FRA kicked a few RIGHT at him... so really I don't know what you are talking about. Mullins had at least 6 maybe more saves. There wasn't once when he didn't come out on a ball or didn't have his hands on it. So I don't know what you were watching. Everyone I talked to remarked that he had an amazing game. Heck, even CPA people were impressed. So say what you want, he had a good game and FRA overall had an ok showing. It took them awhile to get into it, but hey 3-0 so can't complain. Go FRA!!
