  1. If Greeneville shows up and brings it, they will win by 30 or 40. Thats if they stay focused and don't overlook Wartburg, cuase the Bulldog's aint a pushover. They're probably the best team in Region 2 right now. Greeneville isn't THAT big. They're probably not even twice the size of Wartburg.
  2. No one in their right mind would go to Hampton. Not even if they had an add on every page of the news paper.... And just wondering, what is the blue ribbon award? I thought the only thing that got awarded a blue ribbon was the prize pig at the county fair LOL
  3. I haven't seen either Union City, Humboldt, or Lake County this year. With that being said, I personaly think Union City is the best. And I think overall, Humboldt has more talent than the Falcons, but Lake County will find a way to beat them.... And just to let people know that may not keep up with it, but I wouldn't keep having high-hopes for Cosby. I know its early, but they are getting beat all over East Tennessee.
  4. WOW. You beat North Greene. Keep patting yourself on the back bout that one. Mo West was picked 2nd? Well that shows how weak the I-MAC is aside from Greeneville. Who picked West Greene 3rd??? Yeah. And they beat you... Cherokee isn't that good. Plain and simple. If they played in any other part of the state they would probably have 2 or 3 wins.
  5. Everyone owns West Greene in football... But, some new facilities would be nice... At least they could get the raw sewage of West Greene's visitor's sideline.
  6. The people from Hermitage Springs that wanted to play football could have played for Clay in years past, so I don't see it making much of a differance.
  7. Well if they pay $15,000 a year to go to high school, they'd better be getting a heck of an education.
  8. Well let me put it this way. If Adamsville wins Region 8, District 14 will send two teams to the 'Boro. But if Middleton wins that region, I think they will win a HOME sub-state game... And sence Eagles50 has named me "All Knower of 1A Basketball", here's a new top 10 for a new week. 1. Union City 2. Temple 3. Lake County 4. Humboldt 5. Grace Baptist 6. Middleton 7. Pickett County 8. Adamsville 9. Eagleville T10. Jackson County T10. University High (USJC)
  9. You figure thet would sence they recruit from places like Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, Hartford, and what not. Also, private schools have 100% backing from Ronnie & Company and the T$$AA.
  10. OK kids calm down. First, to treefitty74: Eagleville won't have to worry about Humboldt, Union City, and Lake County. Only two can make it state. I think only one will make it, cause I think whoever goes on the road to sub-state will lose... And to Eagles50: Eagleville may have better deffensive numbers than Union City, but Eagleville dosen't play anywhere near the level of competition that Union City does.
  11. Well first, to set the record straight, District 1A is stronger than District 1AA this year. And thats not just from me. That comes from pretty much everyone around, even the # 1 Ranger hater ever, Doug Fritz of the Johnson City Press (aka WriteStuff) West Greene couldn't make it to the regions in 1A this year, but then again the only team from 1AA that would is Unicoi, and maybe Johnson County. Heck, West Greene wouldn't have been in the top 4 of District 1A for at least the past 7 or 8 years.... And now to the question of "What the heck has Unaka ever done?" Well thats a tough one... Lets see. In the past 5 1/2 years they have: Football team has 4 straight play-off trips. Softball team has been to 5 staight sub-state games, and finished 5th in the state last year and was the last public school left. The baseball team has won conferance (5 straight,) district(5 straight,) region, sub-state, and been to state each of the past four years. Girls basketball has been to three straight sub-state games (gone to 4 the last 5 years) and went to state in 2004. Boys basketball has played in 3 sub-state games. Been to state 3 times. Won 5 straight Conferance championships. Won 3 District and 3 Region Championships the past 5 years. Played in the Arby's (went 2-1 with a 7 point loss to the German team.) They've also played internationaly... Oh, did I mention the also won the State Championship in 2004?....... So, now its my turn: What the heck has West Greene ever done???
  12. Why would the T$$AA want to want train the refs better? That would make WAY too much sence, plus It would take $$$ out of the pocket of Ronnie & Company.
  13. This thread is entitled "WEST GREENE BB GOING TO TURN SOME HEADS THIS YEAR." Well the only reason people are turning their heads is so you don't see them laugh... Because of you guys, (you, Billybob, greenecounty fan, mr. freeze, ect.) West Greene is 10 times more over-hyped than DB's football team... Wait to blow your horn until West Greene actually does something, or you'll just keep getting heckled like... Well, like this: Erwin-78 WG-29 NEED I SAY MORE!!!
  14. I wouldn't go that far. Jackson County will choke come tourny time. The only team that has a chance to go to state out of that district is Pickett.
  15. I bet my guts DO stink... But thats besides the point. And I wouldn't talk crap about Unaka. They beat the team (at their place) that beat you guys (at your place) by about 50... You know. That Unicoi team that you said West Greene would give them all they want! What a joke!
  16. What foes it matter? And I'd say its been a while, because Coach Duncan wouldn't scheadule an awful team when he could play a game that would make his team better.
  17. No I don't think so. Its the ref's/official scorer's responsabilty to have the right shooter at the line if I'm not mistaking.
  18. Pirate2003 should change his name to Barney Fife!
  19. I bet you most the schools in the state wish they had a stundent section as "awful" as they are.
  20. ... Guess you've never seen the Siegel Nation.
  21. Saw Cherokee at the Hardee's, and I wasn't impressed at all. The only kid they got that really impressed me was #32 I think. The only one they have that comes off the bench that seemed like he could play is #11. They aren't deep. At the Hardee's they had ALOT of trouble getting the ball up the floor against the press. If Volunteer plays like they are capable of, you guys ought to come out with a win.
  22. The Big 9 is officialy being re-named the Big 1.
  23. Unaka has been beating teams from the Big 9 for a while now.
