DB has one state title, back in 1945. They've gone 27 times and have a record of 49-26. They've been runners-up 4 times... The state tourney used to have 16 teams didn't it? That would explain 49 wins and only 5 appearances in the championship game.

Someone from District 1 for sure. Right now the two sub-state teams look to be Universty School and Cloudland. Hampton has the talent to get in, but they have a knack to underachieve and are going through a major problem right now. Unaka is in a nose dive, and it seems very unlikely that they'll make it, but stranger things have happened.

Oh, I know enough about both to know that West Greene is awful at both.

This is 2007 buddy, not 2006 or whatever year you're living in. 2nd, Pickett and Jackson dosen't have ANYTHING to do with Culleoka. Culleoka would play someone from Region 6 in sub-state. Those two are in Region 4. Know what you're talking about before you open your mouth and make yourself look stupid.... And trust me, one of those two teams (Pickett and Jackson) will choke come tourny time, if not both.

When you get off the plateau away from your home-cooked refs, Pickett is nothing special.... Grace playes a very weak schedule and playes in a relativly weak region, so I wouldn't be surprised if they do go undefeated. It will be hard, but they can do it... But come sub-state, they're done, barring a miracle.

10-4 to 12-2 range, before the major shake-up... Not bad for a school about half the size of the most of them.

Any "bench-warmer" who EVER played at Unaka would be a stud at an awful program like West Greene. One starter and one role player.... Tell me, why does West Greene think they are all that? They've never been ANY good, never had any sucsess at the play-off level, and this year, you have a bad record playing in a super-weak district.

What's Greeneville's secet? Well, they've got 1 great player, a bunch of good role players, a good coach that demands the most from his players, and they play in a super weak region.
