i think some one forgot about a little team called the Maryville Rebels. I think Jeff and West have an equal chance to win their state tourneys. Jeff has to beat DB and West has to beat Maryville. Something neither one of them has done the last few

I will not deny that we got our #### handed to us last year but you have to remember this, the team that played West then was not the same team thats beat McMinn CO and Ootlewah in the playoffs. The team gradually improved the whole season and Parker improved by leaps and bounds. Thats 1 thing to think about another is one more year with the Wing T it was foreign language to the boys at the start of the season and a dangerous weapon by the time we got whooped by DB for the second time Its like I said before, this is just about like a UT/Florida game, bragging rights and it affects the whole rest of the season. I think all the spectics will be drinkin a cold one on the Patriot bandwagon this time next week.

Although Jeff CO has Scoot and company returning kicks I dont know if they have the advantage on special teams. We have had some disastrous punts this year so far and the kick/punt coverage is still suspect. Jenkins is a good kicker period and especially for a baseball player. But my pick is still with my Patriots.

East has a lot of talent in Francisco and the rest of them I just think there are in the wrong class, there is no reason East should be 5a especially if west is 4a. The East/West/Jeff three way rivalry was a big thing in the area, almost like a little Jefferson/Hamblen League because Cocke County and other teams in the area cant hang with any of the 3.

Jeff Co Campbell Co game was at Campbell County. I didnt go but I listened to the playback, CC scored on a blocked punt and field goal. So the defense didnt give them anything they just capitalized on miscues. I will miss the East/Jeff matchup cause I went to Jeff, my dad played for East (when it was just MorristownHS) and I know people from both schools. It was a bad move in my opinion but good for East's record.

Settle down hoss, it was a very crappy night weather wise so if yall werent out in full force thats understandable. I really dont remember any kind of unusaul student section antics. I cant speak for whoever said that cause I dont know them, I dont even know if they were there. Atleast we agree on one thing that it was a great game. I just dont remember a great student section, as I recall there werent even that many people in the Ootlewah bleachers. The group of students that I was an big part of that graduated last year raised the most heck and traveled better than any fans that visited Dumplin Valley.

nope thats Chris Shiverdecker, Tyler Brown is a Senior WR. Shiverdecker will succeed Scooter Houston as the speed back of JC. He will be a quality player on both sides of the ball and special teams. His brother played basket for the Patriots a few years back.

When my fellow Hellraisers and the Jeff Co Patriots came down and handed a loss to the Owls last year in the playoffs i saw neither hide nor hair of these "refs." It was a 1 and half drive and we were pushin 100 students. Thanks for the best game of my senior year Owls!

I think that West gets more front page pictures/articles in the Tribune, I have know people that work there and if anything they are more West kinda folks. It seemed to me last year that Drew Southerland and company were more prominent on the pages than anybody. And hey Lee Corso Jr. your name looks like you work for the Tribune anyway.

I know Jeff is out of East's conference now but I still say they should have kept them on the schedule. Just doesnt make since to me. Jeff plays West so why not play East?

Thats straight Truth I understand. I have yet to here from a player that doesnt like Meadows. He was a welcome change to a program that was growin stagnent. Woods is also a great coach. I go to church with guys that played under him and they had nothing but good things to say about him as a coach. Well I had my heart broken being a Jeff CO fan the last four years by West. This is about the biggest rivalry game we have because the schools are close and alot of people know each other. I think this is the year though, JC is focused now and i think they will finally pull it out. East is much improved over last year but I still dont know if they can hang. Who are you teachers you talked to Mrtruth? Just curious cause I graduated last year from JCHS. And artie you know Goforth? I aint known him too long but I watched the UT game with him last week we know alot of the same people. This is the UT/Florida game of High School Football in Dandridge.
