Being from Dresden, I'd like to congratulate both Huntington and Milan on wonderful seasons this year. Ya'll have accomplished many things, and brought football excitment back to West Tennessee. I wish Huntington the best of luck next Friday. Bring a state championship back to West Tennessee. Also, good luck to the Mr. Football nominees!

Tony had a seizure this past weekend at his home. He was taken to an Emergency Room, but later released. He comtinues to improve, and will have surgery on his knee/leg within the next week or 2. Keep praying!

Dresden over Union City... Tonight is Dresden's Senior Night & I would like to thank our 11 seniors who have led the team this year. Garner, Jordan, Chuck, Wyman, Bruce, PJ, Ted, Travis, Trey, Bob, & T-Bone ya'll have led this team to an awesome year, and ya'll will be missed next year at DHS! Good Luck to the Lions tonight. Play will all your hearts!

Last update we got was that he is off the respirator and is now breathing on his own. He was talking, and sometime last night/this morning, he wrote a note to his mom while he was still strapped to the bed that said he was claustrophobic and wanted undone, and he is now undone, and talking. His back is not broken, but his pelvis is seriously injured, along with his brain where he is bleeding in 2 spots, and other internal injuries. Everyone please remember him in your thoughts and prayers. He still has a very long way to go. We are praying for you Tony, and we miss you back at DHS and on the field!

Last report I had came from a member of Levi's family... he knew some family members and his girlfriend, but could not walk yet, and thought he went to school in Milan. Levi, you're in our thoughts and prayers, and we hope to see you back at school soon!!

Oh my gosh... when I started this thread I didn't entend for it to be a cyber war. Drop it. Dresden won, McKenzie lost. The game was 6 almost 7 days ago. Both teams who are bickerin need to focus on TOMORROW nights games. Grow up & Go Lions!

We all need to remember Fulton City players, coaches, fans, parents, and students tonight in our prayers. If you don't know, a junior on their team was killed last Saturday night in a car accident. He played football, and as I understand a well respected young boy. Let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers tonight as they play their first game with out him. Dresden's thinking about you, and we wish you the best of luck.

Both teams will be winners if they play with all they got. However, Dresden is ready as they will ever be. We are ready to prove something to West Tennessee. GO Lions!

I'd like your opinions on your thoughts about Dresden?? They've had a great season this year so far with wins against Gibson County, Humboldt, Lighthouse Christian, Trenton, South Fulton, and Westview. They have 11 seniors who have stepped us this year and have shown wonderful leadership while leading the team. How do you think they will do with the remaining teams they have left to play-McKenzie, Milan, Camden, and Union City? Please... no trash talking, let's all act mature & act sportsmanlike.

If you are from Dresden, and are running the other teams down... 1 word-stop. Not only do you make the school look bad, you also make our football team look bad. Dresden and Westview have always been rivals, so it will be a hard fought game. I know Dresden wants to leave tomorrow night 6-0, but I also am sure that Westview wants to leave 1-5. Jordan will be playing tomorrow night. Needless to say, good luck to my fellow teammates Dresden, and to Westview too. Hey Dresden-Play you're hardest, & never give up! Go Lions!
