I am so sorry gents. I heard the story on the friday night show here locally (Oak Ridge) and considered it to be reliable info. Again I am sorry I did not mean to go off half cocked with bad info. I certainally did not want to start a rumor. I am really glad that I was wrong. Like I said I hate to see any of these kids get hurt. He was a big reason D-B beat us (Oak Ridge). But I would rather face D-B with him than without if that game comes to be. Again sorry D-B fans

Is Lamon Williams not out for the rest of the season. I was told and even posted that he was out for the rest of the season with a broken ankle please hurry with the info. I want to correct myself befor I look like a rumor mill which I am not by any means. I consider the source I heard this for to be a very reliable person thanks

Yes it was lamon Williams and he broke his ankle. I am 100% positive about a season ending injury. I am not 100% positive about his ankle being broken. When I was told the source said I "think" it was a broken ankle.

My prediction will be Jeff Co. vs Oakridge in round 2. That is If I have the playoff structure correct. It is very possible I do not have the structure correct as to who plays who but I think this is correct. Only reason Mcminn has a chance is #1 they are a good well coached team #2 Which I would like to say is an awful thing is the loss of D-B's fantastic wide receiver. I am always for having an edge on another team but I really hate to see any of these kids get hurt. No matter if they are 8-0 or 0-8 This is probably all wrong but I have had fun thinking about it

I am sure Soddy Daisy has a good team. The are well coached. The players play with class, that shoud make their fans proud. But... If OR is prepared and come to play Soddy will not be able to score more than 14 and that will be late in the game. OR will come out smokin with 14- 21 points in the first quarter and will be playing reserves by the end of the 3rd. I AM NOT TRYING TO BRAG. I promise the game still has to be played. If the scores were the way I predict we wouldnt have to make the trip all the way down there. OR is that good. They have serious weapons on the ground and through the air, 2 deep in most skill positions. We are going deep in the playoffs. Again those are just my uneducated observations. Good Luck Soddy Daisy. Is there a website or is there anywhere I can go to understand the way the playoffs are run. As far as who plays who and who gets homefield advantage ect. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the nice comments Owl fan sounds like your a class act as well. Roll Wildcats !! I still cant understand what the problem was in our two low scoring wins. This team has a brother to brother relationship as well as a teammate relationship. By the look of things at the owl nest they are back on track rollin like big dogs. Also a heads up for the next few years JV went undefeated and the freshmen are undefeated heading into the east TN large school championship which they won last year also an undefeated freshman season.

I know everyone in Oak Ridge that I talk to will know about this and be praying for him and his Family.

I am an Oak Ridge Fan and D-B did beat us . WE were ranked in the top ten. Just a reminder though we had that game won and early season conditioning caught up with us. Our starters had not had to play past halftime until that game. No excuses though D-B is a region 5 power house. I hate they got beat last night but it mat well motivate them the rest of the year.

Story is that Dobbins Bennet is 70% pass 30% run. Cant speak about the other team

Is it Too late for Clinton to schedule a game with D-B. This game should be aq waqke up call for any team across the state that is highly ranked. ON ANY GIVEN NIGHT If you dont have your head in the game you can be beat. Football is more mental than physical. I have said that for years. My only hope is that no one from Dobbins - Bennet was not injured. That would be a awful way to loose and have to listen to all this crap. If someone was injured I will pray for their fast recovery.

Oak Ridge - Kisgsport Dobbins Bennet is becoming a great one. This year, regular season non region game the atmosphere was absoulty electric.

My Opnion is that the yards per carry is the stastic that means more than total yards. Our Starting Backs are benched after we get a comfortable lead. Sometimes that might be late in the second quater or early in the third. I see where one person mentioned the Offensive line. You almost never see big stats even for a great back without a good Offensive line.

I think Oak Ridge will win. But no team can be sure of a win when they have a tradition of being good. A lot of times a team that plays Oak ridge or any high rated football program can be defeated by an underdog. Those programs that are considered major underdogs can feel beating Oak Ridge as a succesful season. No matter their final record. Emotions play a huge part in high school football. My Last Post Said State bound In 05 for Sure I meant to type 06. Although 05 isnt out of the question. 06 Oak Ridge will be in the final game to decide State Champs

They will be 3 Deep without very much difference in talent. They will be state bound in 05 if not before.

Oak Ridge Boys fought to the end. Both teams have some awesome explosive players on both sides of the ball. DB didnt get a #3 rating that Week and OR #5 for nothing. OR had a chance to tie If they scored and kicked PAT or may have won with a 2 pt conversion. Some one needs to send OR heaad coach instructions on how to call a time out. I am not taking anything away from DB. But wit approx 23 seconds on the clock Not only did OR not take a time out but ended up taking a delay of game penatly. loosing yardage and ended the game with 7 seconds on the clock . which ment one chance to score from where they were on the field that meant they had to throw into the endzone. They could have had at least two maybe three plays from the thirteen. But because of Horrible time managment. It cost those boys a CHANCE at a tie and overtime maybe even winning. Oak Ridge HAd the talent to play with DB but was out classed and beaten on the sidlines with a head coach that doesnt know how to win a big game. I am probably sounding like I am coach bashing. I am simply recalling FACTS
