Brentwood High will be hosting their annual softball tournament on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29. As always, it should be a great tournament will some excellent competition. There is a woman's softball team coached by John Polsteen and Ben Tyree. It is for girls who just graduated from high school and college players who want to stay in shape. There are also some post college players on there as well. It is a lot of fun. They play on Tuesday nights and that is it. It is a great way to keep playing the game and stay in shape. You can contact Coach Polsteen at 479-1234.

At this point in the season anything is possible: "Anybody can beat anybody on any given day." All of the teams just need to come ready to play and give it their all. I think they all will.

The Brentwood High Lady Bruin Classic tournament will be held March 30 and 31 with April 1 reserved as a rain date. Information will go out either late August or early September.

John Polsteen has a team every year called the Silver Bullets. Give him a call 479-1234. I know he is always looking for some quality players.

The Brentwood tournament will resume tomorrow. The pool games that were scheduled for today will start tomorrow. The times are as follows: 8:00, 9:15, 10:30, and 11:45. The single elimination tournament will start at 1:00.

Brentwood High School will be hosting the annual "Lady Bruin Colca Cola Classic" Softball Tournament April 2-3 to be held at Crockett Park in Brentwood. The format will be round-robin pool play with teams from each pool advancing to a single elimination championship tournament. We are looking to fill 20 team spots this year (first come, first serve). Entry fee will be $150 with a guarantee of at least four games. All entry forms and checks must be received by March 1, 2004. There will be no refunds after this date.
