Why is Northpoint Christian in the TSSAA?

If 84 can get tough and win some balls(got his rear kicked every time they threw to him last game) then CHS will have a chance for 15 to win it with his foot late. 25 will also be a difference maker. CHS 17 RHS 14

8th graders can play if they are in the same building.

I just don't understand why CHS does not use Drew more. he should have the ball 20 times a game. his touchdown to catch ratio has to be unreal. he touched the ball twice last week. get it to him, quick slants, hitches, stops, put him at H and throw him a bubble. put him at QB and just let him run. that was an incredible sight the other night seeing him make Starnes and the whole rest of the secondary look like little boys. get him the ball.

Hey Hey! Great game last week cougars. Ive been out of pocket this week. I love being proven wrong in that way. way to go chaz, and a great return raymond. I hear kelly is back, go to him when you can. remember vs siegle your team scored one more point than he did alone vs IHS. NE is a little better but you guys should beat them. they got a few that can catch chaz, so go to the big guy when you can. stay focused, and 07 is right, be humble you aint done squat yet.

after three days off, on tuesday, the first thing you do is an agressive contact drill? let them get back in to form, hit some in breakdown drills, do oklahoma at the end of practice when they are back in a contact mode. sure you get intense and compete and hit, just do it in a smart methodical way. yes injuries do happen, but you minimize the risk for all kids not just the talented ones. but kelly is a play maker. a catch run and score guy. his defense is not very good. defensively he is a physical presense only. but not for now.

drew hyperext. his elbow in an oklahoma drill on tu. could have a torn ligament (tommy john) MRI was today he goes to dr. tomorrow. could be out one game could be whole season.

without kelly, the cougars have no chance. and yes!!! he makes that much difference. until he comes back they go 0 for ? eubanks respected him so much they prepared all week for him and he still ripped them. i don't think chs knows what they have in this kid.

never mind. I just talked to a freind of mine and got the whole story. INCREDIBLE!!!! just when i thought they were on to somthing. what numbskull coach puts a kid like him or any of them in a drill like that. a clue, you are short handed against everyone from here on. i thought you didn't want him on defense, not one second vs IHS. hey papa kelly you better take charge of this one yourself. your "my son makes his own decisions" philosohy is crapp! protect your son, no one else will. im totally blown away. i give up.

well finally, drew must have introduced himself to the chs coaching staff. heres another clue for you, he plays defense also, and as a sophmore, he played the screen pass as good as it gets. i remember him not rushing the qb but holding his ground and making the qb go over the top. drew, introduce yourself to the defensive coaches. also ill bet money that eubanks set his defense with the sole intent to stop drew. they left the slant open all game long, why do you do that? you look to set it up, and take away averything else they could have done with drew. but for 3 times it did not work. i still say kelly is the biggest threat in middle tn.

with that said, just a word on what kind of guy Kelly is. I just found out he committed to Miami of Ohio in basketball. so he is playing football for the game, his team and his school. get him the ball.

sure he is great basketball player, but they don't start till after football. if he did not want to play, he would not be out there. use him! think about it, why would a kid go through all of this if he did not want to help his school win. especially at CHS, its not the most fun thing to do, work that hard, and get beat most of the time. what is in this for him?

Does anyone know why Centennial does not use Drew Kelly? I saw him at UTs camp, he was whipping SEC DBs. 6'7 250 he can catch BBs in the dark. what is going on? He shoud have the ball in his hands 15 times a game. he can fall for 5 yards at a time, and fight for 20. he should never come off of the field. i have worked out with the kid and he is one of the best conditioned guys around, he is a beast. hey CHS coaches, look around, you got somthing special on your team. use him. hitch mean anything to you guys? set him out left, then run right. he attracts 3 to 4 guys where ever he goes. coaches, wake-up!

Congrats to Centennial on a great season 26-7 nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of juniors also, should be tough next year. Drew Kelly - 1942 career points, most celebrate 1000 and here is the scary thing he is one of those juniors. Great job I look forward to watching you and your team next year.

He will miss the Ravenwood game, and all of next week. The foot is more serious than they let on. This is not just mickey mouse stuff, something is going on with his foot. I have seen him play before with broken bones. He is a tuff kid, so something is wrong.

Centennial went 4 and 0 at the Walton Sun Basketball Blowout They beat Baker Fla., Buckhorn Ky., Cookeville, and Paxton Fla. in the Finals Congrats to the Cougars. McLemore - MVP Kelly All tourney team - averaged just above 20. Folks who went said he did not move well at all. He may have a stress fracture in his foot, going to get it X-rayed this week.

Just keep this in mind, Drew is a Junior. he is approaching 1500 career points. In all of Centennials he sat most of the 4th quarter. Against page for example if Kelly(coach) had let him go, he could have had 50. Against Smyrna, he could have had 60. Also colleges can offer any time they want. Drew has about 40 legit offers. the mail is sick, Ill bet over 1000 letters, I put the mail in coaches box every day and not just letters, but press guides, posters etc. Now this will blow your mind, Drew will tell you that Keith is the better player.

So Hillwood must really stink then huh.

I gotta go with Centennial, they are huge, and have some of the quickest guards in the area. I have talked to most of the 11AAA coaches, and they all say Franklin and Centennial. Hillsboro could be there, gotta find some shooters. I like IHS to pull some upsets. CHS - Kelly top ten in southeast usa,has added perimeter game, over 40 DI offers already, Vandy wake up FHS - Young best pg in mid tn. Vandy wake up Hillsboro - most talent is dist. IHS- surprise Ravenwood- over rated Overton - no size Brentwood - freaked out by King Hillwood - still a ways to go

Drew Kelly has scored 1206 so far for Centennial, his is a soph. He had 806 this season. I predict that he will score over 1000 in a single season before he graduates. What other 1000 plus scorers are out there.

Congrats to Chase, this is a tough thing to do in two years. Especially so young. Lets hear about other sophs reaching this mark. I am throwing Drew Kelly(Centennial) in the mix, he finished this year with 1206, and just a soph.

I forgot to add, he is already over 1200 points for his career.
