What underclassman did they lose and why?

HOW WILL THE BOYS BE THIS YEAR AFTER LOSING SUCH A TALENTED BUNCH OF SENIORS. WHERE WILL THEY STACK UP IN THE REGION AND WHO DO THEY HAVE COMING BACK?

i was around when my kid played and although he was not a freshman i made a few of the games. the fresh qb that was under center when melvin and bijohn were fresh was the weak link in the chain. if they would have had a qb they would have probably went undefeated. the kid was a total fish out of water. he had no arm and absolutely no running ability. he had the deer in headlights look every time he droped back for a pass. this kid probably had no future in the quarterback position wuith the phenom will jones coming through. but what i do not understand is with all of this athletic ability this kid seems to have why could he not have been a d 1 wide rec . with a experienced qb already in the system i would have wanted my child to just help the team in any way he could.

How can you say that losing bijon did not hurt. It was huge. He was one of three returning starters on a defense suffering from lack of experiencs and depth. Is it me or does the whole team go both ways. I think that is the problem.

ccfan, you are an idiot. why don't you try to come to the game and watch h because you could not have seen them the first time we played them. we have improved a great deal since then but i am sure they have also. i hope for a good game and go big blue....

i believe that cc has gotten better each game. they ar epeaking at playoff time and that is a teams dream. the last 3 games for cc has showed a total domination an both sides of the ball. the leader of all this seems to be jake. he has improved every game and i can not wait for next year. he is playing with confidence and this is what he has lacked all year. we have had discussions all year about the wing-t v/s the I. these last three games for cc has showed the importance of their offense. it has showed what a good d can do to very good I offenses. we have 3 backs you have to stop instead of keying on 1. i know that h are licking their chops, but they watch because this cc team is really hungry. good luck to both teams, and so much for that soft schedule, huh Garo.

this is what i saw and i have been at every game this season. all of the starters were not in there as early as late in the third. i do not know coach cupples personaly, nor have i talked to any of his staff. but the ONLY qb they have is jake (besides kyle and he is a senior). if they took the whole line out at 1 time the way bruceton was coming after them they would have been asking for jake to get injured. they were swapping in and out the last part of the third and into the fourth. i know this because i was watching my cousin and he played the last part of the third and he has played in only 2 other games this season. i understand what cupples was doing although i agree it would have been nice to get the 2 team some reps. i was wondering about the qb of the future, i heard the one that was supposed to step in after jake quit this year.

cc can pass with high percentage play action passes. the just can not widen it out and go 4 & 5 wide. as far as jake being slow afoot you must be watching from long distance because i believe he runs at least a 4.8 or 4.7 you must have watched him last year. he is more of a play action guy and a option qb. jake to me has gotten better every game this year. the running game for cc is of course their strong point on offense. but if they stack them up in the box like dyer did i think the play action will be a factor as it was there. the heart and soul of the team is their defense though. this is the reason i think they win. i do not believ that their offense is good enough to get ahead by 2 scores.

i saw the game and the willis kid is special. i do not feel sorry for bruceton this year, i feel sorry for the teams they play when the willis kid is a senior. i wonder what former thought of the game and if he was there or not.

what kind of changes are you talking about? i wonder what the fromerqb thinks about the game and who is he pulling for? he is a man torn apart..

How will the game turn out?

i understand that the run opens up the pass. the thing that i do not understand is the play action off of these would be the best option. they try to run the run with the wing tee. then they try to pass with the spread or whatever it is. i do not know, the thing that is wrong with this team is not the wing t it is playcalling.

i did understand why cc went to the pass either. they were running with ease up and down the field when the turning point came. they were on about the 25 or so and went to some fake reverse pass and took a sack a lost about 20 yrds. that is what i did not understand

about the h game with c. the d of chester did not get torched in the second half by the pass as it did in the first half. the secondary has gotten better each game and most importantly gaining confidence. you have to remember, the corners for cc are playing their first year of football and their coach is in his 2 year i believe. their inexperience has contributed to the lack of pass d to this point. this secondary is a work in progress. i personaly think they are doing a great job. about the game friday night. i think cc will have to put pressure on the qb with different blitz packages. the main ad for cc will be their abil;ity to run the football. cc seems to let their best asset, their d, win games for them. they try to control the clock by running the football. m will have to put 8 in the box to stop the run and when they do, cc will have to use play action to burn them. the m off is their best asset. if their qb does not make mistakes chester might be in a shoot out which definitely favors m. but i think that the d for cc will step up, i think cc will win with their running game and d. my the best team win, and good luck to both..

i do not know who said that teddy's desire to play will fall. this shows that he does not know teddy. he has more desire and heart than any kid i know!!!

i would not classify my reply as being a party pooper. i was simply stating my opinion, just like you. it just so happened that my opinion was not in favor of you, nothing personal. i thought that was what was great about football, you did not have to agree. the jock strap thing was a joke, i guess you did not take it as such. i just thought i would get in on the action. i saw a post and i replied. i saw both of you play and just stated my opinion as you and everyone else did. but hey, all i care about is cc sports. since it is fall, lets talk some football!

i am not going to argue with you former, but i seen you play every game while you were at cc. i also saw clay. but i will say this, you were a pretty good qb, but by far did not have the arm, accuracy, or brain for the game that he did. he was the total field general. he had such a grasp of the offense he changed plays when he needed, and led the team on d as well as o. i can say this, if it was not for mays leaving murley would have played some pretty good college ball. mays came back to town in the spring of his senior and could not believe that murley was not going to play in college. oh the lives campbell ruined. and to top it all off, i do not have a kid. this is not newman.

trulyhuge, i do not know about the last pure qb. there was a qb that came through here in the 90's by the name of Murley. i think he was a tad bit better than the old formerqb. not taking anything away from the old slasher garo, i do not think garo could hold murley's jock (not that anyone would want to).

I guess old Garo has already chalked up a loss for CC against Mck.....Maybe the boys should just stay home.

I heard they were honoring the 53, 63, 73, 83, 93 Chester Co teams of the past during homecoming. Is this true?

i was not able to make that game but it sounded that way. we all know how easy it is to do something like that. i look forward to the mck matchup, but as you said we need to take it 1 game at a time
