From my perspective, I also like to watch Culleoka play Zion at home or at ZCA. Both are small schools with respect for each other.....and I must say the "FANS" of both teams seem to be positive and respectful of the other teams, coaches, and each other!! Sounds like Coach Sharp is to be repected... Maybe that's why the transition appears to be smooth. IDK..... just looking from the outside! I hope the best for him and the team for the rest of the season!

Do you know how many times they were able to practice together? They seemed to have good communication with the coach!

I was at the game, and as I posted on "Culleoka's Coach is out"... The girls seemed to play as a "team" and you would never know this was the first game with a "new coach!" This was the first time I had seen them play this season! How many times did they get to practice together? Congratulations to Zion! Good Game!

Just in case you wanted to know..... I am not from Culleoka but was there for the game with Zion. They seemed to play well with each other and if you didn't know it... you would not notice this was the first game for this coach with these girls. I saw alot of energy and heart into the game. They seemed to play well together. I am not a professional, just a fan...but I would be proud of the way the girls pulled it together and the coach to play a very good game. Congratulations to Zion for a well played game!

The Sports Editor graduated from CMA (Columbia Military Academy) before it became Columbia Academy.

yeah we did!! we had no seniors last year..but this year we have 4 who start....

no but girls can't play like in the field the only thing they can do is be a kicker punter person whatever people call it..its called both so yeah...

yeah so it just came to my attention that TSSAA only allows girls to be punters in football...crap...and i can't kick to save my life...and yes i am am MTSU fan...lol...oh well there goes that dream

if a girl was to be on a team...do you think they would let her play in the games? or just be on the bench...b/c i really am seriously considering doing it i just need some assurance

well thanks guys...i am considering it for next year...but who knows???maybe you will see a girl out on the field when you play my team lol...or maybe just on the bench...

um i was wondering if girls could play tssaa football on a guys team???someone help me out with this one...thanks

there are some travel teams that play in williamson county they have a website and you can google it but i dunno what it was called...i just looked at it once...and also since your school doesn't have a team if you get some other girls next year maybe they could do CO-OP...its where if your school doesn't have a team then they can play for another school in the area...but you will have to talk to people in TSSAA cuz i know they can do it in football i'm just not sure about any other sport...so i hope that's of help if its not to late...if not you can consider doing it next year and you can always play indoor travel soccer during the winter..i did that a few years ago but just get online and look and talk to some people in TSSAA

0ur Zion girls played Giles County today, and as a fan I want to publically thank all the fans in attendence for their sportsmanship.Both teams played a welled fought game. What I would say ;is your girls were very well coached and it showed throughout both halves.Your #3 "MO" was an superb mid fielder who was consistenly passing the ball and setting up other players.No#21 was great, and had great speed and ball handling skills...especially when she would run the ball down the field and loft a ball over the players near the net so that #15 could head it in the goal.#21 has blazing speed WOW,no#15 great skills,and unselfish play. She did this twice in a row.No#3 was very fast and a good defender who kept our ball from being put into play.She did a great job guarding our #10 our little tite-the smallest player on the field-only a sophmore. The best part was at the end of the game when the Lady Bobcats brought roses over to our players and recognized our Senior Class.It was very moving and brought tears to their eyes. I rode home with girls from Zion and they were so proud and glad that they got to play a team with such class.Kudo's to the whole team and their coaches and supporters.I took off work to drive down and attend the game and at the end, I wish we would had enough daylight to play another one.Again,a very well coached and refereed game.. Good Luck in the district tournment...win or lose your the best we've played

the zion girls have had a pretty good showing this year.. 16-1.. how far do you think they will go??

another zion starter messed up his ankle in the previous game.. so he was out too.. zion played an awesome game.. i don’t know what all u grace people are talking about.. it was awesome for them to make it that far with so few people.. who ever calls going against the odds like they did horrible needs to grow up

yeah.. the zion seniors have shown incredible leadership this year!! good luck zion against ca.. it will be tough w/out 2 starters.. but you can do it!! thumb
